I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try
....But that was just a dream
Just a dream

Currently Reading
Robert Frost: Selected Poems
By Robert Frost
see related

today was a good day. but not as nice as two days ago....
two days ago was wonderful *smile*.
I love spring, and i love robert frost. they absolutely kill me.
today seems a day to read poetry...and i do know why i think: Spring is correspondent to growth and new beginnings, and poetry inspires new thoughts and ideas. Sometimes people ask me what im doing, and i'll tell them im looking for a new thought. Life is only ever boring because you've stopped trying to find new things in it. We arent ever done learning, or feeling, or seeing, or thinking, or understanding. SO. thats why today my suggestion to the world is to go read "The Bonfire" by Robert Frost.
*sigh* brilliance.

"But if it scares you, what will it do to us?
Scare you, but if you shrink from being scared
what will you say to war if it should come?
Thats what for reasons I would like to know
if you can comfort me my any answer.

Oh, but war's not for children, its for men.

Now we are digging almost down to china...
my dears my dears; you thought that--we all thought it
so your mistake was ours. Haven't you heard though
about the ships where war has found them out
at sea, about the towns where war has come
through opening clouds at night with droning speed
Further overhead than all but stars and angels
and children in the ships and in the towns?
havent you heard what we have lived to learn?
nothing so new, something we had forgotten:
War is for everyone. For children too.
I wasnt going to tell you and i musnt.
the best way is to come uphill with me
and have our fire and laugh and be afraid."

Colorado was wonderful. Period. My favorite tourney all year.

And even tho we didnt qual, due to the fact that we refused to abuse fiat, [dont even think about arguing jake] I feel ok with it. Maybe we'll get a wildcard slot. Maybe we wont.

HI went well. I broke to semis, and didnt get a single bad ballot. Look out Biola =P.

I met a ton of new people, got to spend time and travel with my wonderful friends austin, curdie, marian, and joyce.

[ pics: http://community.webshots.com/user/ohbria ]

and of course, got to be with my other bri half =P

so here's to manslapping, doing the pretzel, listening to music..all while sharing an ice cream cone, watching zim *muhahhaha*, staying up till 2 after not breaking eating mint ice cream and watching napoleon dynamite, long talks on the plane, spraying each other with listerine and tahiti sweetie, cracking jokes: " is he pregnant?" hiking around hugeous lakes, having pic wars, and....STARBUCKS!

i was a strange little girl.

i said my first two words at three months of age: momma, and hi.

i spoke in sentances by six months.

i walked at nine months.

by one year i was holding conversations.

when i was two, i had a cat. I named her roxanne.

where did i get that? hmm? someone please tell me why i named my cat after a charactor from the play Cyrano de Bergerac? at two.

maybe my parents spilled coffee in my hydration tubes *ponders*
