| Go shorty.. its your...
Happy Birthday to me!!! Here comes 23!! ... damn I'm getting old! Drew
| Let me just make a statement loud and clear...
Awesome job Rutgers! I wear enough of your clothing to support you! And a message to everyone else. Don't fuck with Jersey!
| The ignorant should be slapped! Hey everyone, So today is Monday, everyone knows Monday is the worst day of the week. Just because its Monday, doesn't give you a license to be ignorant and rude. Examples of people being rude today.
#1 The new hire lady was showing this new guy around. He and her were in front of the plot room talking with one of my group members. I needed to go get a plot and see them. The group member walks away, I walk close by, and I just said hi very nicely. The lady (WHO KNOWS WHO I AM) looked at me, and just walked away! I got in the print room and was like "THAT BITCH!" lol.. the print guys looked at me funny.
#2 This was actually the president of the company. He was walking out of the cafeteria as I was walking in. I opened the door and held it open for him. Walked right by without so much as a thank you. Grr.. #3 This was actually more of an oblivious asshole thing to do instead of being rude. Me and my friend just finished lunch and was waiting for the elevator to take us back to work. This old guy walks out of the elevator, stands in FRONT of the doorway blocking it, and asked us where the cafeteria was, I told him it was right there, and he just stands there looking around as the elevator door SHUTS! AND THEN he walks away! Me and my friend just kinda looked at each other like ... did that REALLY just happen?
#4 This actually happened a couple times today. The world isn't made for just one person, we all have to share it. Naturally, we bump into other people, but its okay when you say "excuse me" or "i'm sorry", not these people.. I'm the one that said it and they looked at me like it was my fault? Assholes. #5 (Final one, I swear) This one actually took the cake. This guy that works in another group doing environmental stuff, kinda works with our group as well. He was leaving at like 5:30 or so. Tell me why he walked up to and said bye to EVERYONE in my group personally, but me? Whatever.. I like to make mental notes. So like I said before... just because it's Monday, doesn't give you the excuse to be an asshole. Granted, I'm not Miss Happy Sunshine here.. but hey, give me some credit. I try. So mentioned in the last post.. Miss Jessica Ring and I are getting the hell away for our birthday weekends. Yeah, we're getting to be old geezers.. I remember back when I was 20.. sigh... so on our list of agenda SATURDAY: KINGS DOMINION
... then maybe a nice birthday dinner somewhere.
SUNDAY: Headin' over to Washington D.C. Why you ask? Well.. first on the list is the National Zoo! (Guess what makes em so special?)
.. then at 1:00, we got tickets for:

I know.... I'm obsessed.. but there is something special about Cirque du Soleil. I'm telling ya. I had no desire to see it at all, and then I watched my first one last year.. the acts, the music, jsut everything was really great about it. Curious? Head over to youtube.com and search for it, they have a couple vids on there.. but its NO WHERE close to the real thing. Have a goodnight everyone. :) Drew
| Workin' for the man sucks..Hey everyone, I don't know if anybody has been reading my away message.. but this week my work schedule has been pretty brutal. Going in at 830am and leaving pretty late. Late as in 9-10:00 at night. On Tuesday I was there til' 1:30am! I even had to work yesterday (A SATURDAY) from 9:30am - 8:00pm. I mean.. granted I do get paid overtime (charging my hours is another issue).. but it still takes a toll on my body. I have been doing good going to the gym almost everyday, but this week I had no time to go, let alone sleep. Sigh.. this Lowes shopping center extravaganza project I've been working on is due Tuesday, and as my boss puts it "Andrew, just letting you know, its gonna be a long day for you Monday"... so I'll probably be there til' like 2:00am or later tomorrow. I just need a break. Thank god Jess and I are leaving for a mini vacation this weekend, but more about that in another time. I guess I should head to bed. Wish me luck everyone. I hope I stay have to stay too long tomorrow. Drew | | |
