What is the greastest life lesson you've learned so far?

Never eat yellow snow.

Everything after that is just gravy.

The fall TV line-ups were announced.  Thought I'd make some comments.

Returning
NBC: Chuck, 30 Rock, The Apprentice, The Biggest Loser, Dateline NBC, Deal or No Deal, ER, Friday Night Lights, Heroes, Knight Rider, Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Life, Lipstick Jungle, My Name is Earl, Medium, The Office, Sunday Night Football

  • I am excited that Heroes, The Office, and Sunday Night Football are back.

  • If I do watch an L&O, it is SVU.  I like that one the most.  So I am glad that one is back.

  • ER?  Are you serious??  I thought I saw something about this being the last season?  Aren't they on like season 17 or something already?  Can it still be good?  I mean, I know that the yummy Linda Cardellini is on it, but even that isn't enough for me to try to get into it again.  When Mark Green died, I stopped watching the show.

  • I have been told that I need to watch 30 Rock.  Maybe I'll catch it on hulu or something.

ABC: Pushing Daisies, America's Funniest Home Videos, Boston Legal, Brothers & Sisters, Dancing with the Stars, Desperate Housewives, Dirty Sexy Money, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Private Practice, Samantha Who?, Supernanny, Ugly Betty, Wife Swap, Eli Stone, Scrubs, According to Jim, The Bachelor, Primetime: What Would You Do?

  • I am excited that Lost & Pushing Daisies are back.
  • I haven't really watched Scrubs in years, but I am glad it found a new home after NBC was letting it go.
  • Eli Stone is pretty cool.  I watched the first 3 or 4 episodes.  I want to check out the rest to see what I missed.
  • Booo!!!  I was hoping that Grey's Anatomy would be gone.  I know, it is a pipe dream.  But the fact that it exists means that Lost is on later.  I can handle Lost at 9 a lot better than on at 10.  Staying up until 11 is bleah.
  • America's Funniest Home Videos??  This is still on?  I mean, like new episodes?  Whoa.  Is it still Bob Saget?

CBS: The Amazing Race, The Big Bang Theory, Cold Case, Criminal Minds, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Ghost Whisperer, NCIS, NUMB3RS, Survivor, Two and a Half Men, Without a Trace, The New Adventures of Old Christine, The Unit, How I Met Your Mother, Rules of Engagement

  • I just realized that I do not ever watch CBS.

The CW: Reaper, America's Next Top Model, Everybody Hates Chris, The Game, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Smallville, Supernatural,

  • HELL'S YEAH!!!  Reaper, Smallville, and Supernatural!  Reaper was on the bubble, but I am very excited that it is back.  I read that it will be a 13 episode season, starting in January.  And Smallville is having it's series finale in January.  I am kind of glad for that...it is getting kind of annoying.  But I have watched for 7 years, so I will finish it out.  And I just recently discovered how cool Supernatural is.  I watched the first season and the first 8 episodes of season 2 on DVD so far.  Maybe I can catch up with the show and start watching it week-to-week.
  • America's Next Top Model.  My roommate said it best last night, "Why is that show still on?"  My answer, I have no idea.

Fox: 24, American Idol, American Dad, Family Guy, Kitchen Nightmares, King of the Hill, Prison Break, The Simpsons, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, 'Til Death, Bones, Hell's Kitchen, House, Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? TBD

  • 24 ... FINALLY!  Because of the strike, we went all of the spring 2008 season without 24.  We're finally getting it back.

  • Family Guy, The Simpsons, American Dad, and King of the Hill.  I am glad there are some good cartoons still on network TV.  They need to bring back Futurama though!

  • The Sarah Conner Chronicles.  I read that the production cost was too high for the amount of viewership they were getting this season.  Maybe the'll cut back on some of the SFX?

In Limbo

Fox: The Next Great American Band, Unhitched, Don't Forget the Lyrics

I don't care.

Canceled
NBC: 1 vs. 100, Amne$ia, Bionic Woman, Clash of the Choirs, Journeyman, Las Vegas, My Dad is Better Than Your Dad, Phenomenon, Quarterlife, The Singing Bee, Scrubs (moved to ABC)

  • I had a feeling Las Vegas wore out it's welcome.  Nothing suprising here, except for Scrubs' move to ABC.  Bravo ABC for picking it up.

ABC: Men in Trees, Big Shots, Carpoolers, Cavemen, October Road, Women's Murder Club, Cashmere Mafia, Miss Guided, Notes from the Underbelly, Oprah's Big Give, Here Come the Newlyweds, Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann

  • I never watched an episode of Miss Guided, even though I wanted to.  I am glad to see Oprah get the boot.  Cavemen...maybe they'll think twice about taking commerical characters and trying to make a show with them

CBS: Moonlight, Shark, Jericho, Viva Laughlin, Welcome to the Captain, Secret Talents of the Stars, Kid Nation, Power of 10

  • Jericho?  How many times has this been cancelled?

The CW: Aliens in America, CW Now, Life is Wild, Online Nation, Beauty and the Geek, Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants, Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious

  • 3 more reality shows get the boot.  WOOHOO!!!

Fox: Back to You, New Amsterdam, Nashville, Canterbury's Law, K-Ville, The Return of Jezebel James, TBD

  • I watched the pilot of New Amsterdam.  I liked it.  Never seemed to catch it again though.

New
NBC: America's Toughest Jobs, Chopping Block, Crusoe, Howie Do It, Kath & Kim, Kings, The Listener, Merlin, My Own Worst Enemy, The Philanthropist, Shark Taggers, Who Do You Think You Are? Momma's Boys, and The Untitled "Office" Spinoff

  • The only ones I think even sound like something I might like are the Office spinoff, Kings, Merlin, and Crusoe.

ABC: Life on Mars, Opportunity Knocks, The Goode Family, and an Untitled Ashton Kutcher/Tyra Banks Project

  • Ashton Kutcher/Tyra Banks.  Oh deat God.

CBS: Worst Week, Project Gary, The Mentalist, Eleventh Hour, Harper's Island, The Ex List,

  • The Ex List has an intriguing name.

The CW: 90210, Stylista, Surviving the Filthy Rich

  • 90210?!?!?!?  You've got to be shitting me!  A spin-off of Beverly Hills, 90210

Fox: Dollhouse, Fringe, Cleveland, The Inn, Sit Down Shut Up, TBD

  • Yeah, whatever.

In your opinion who is the greatest actor of all time?

Well three names came to mind.  And neither of them are DeNiro, Pacino, or Hoffman...even though they should be.  Those are probably the best three.  Throw in Lon Chaney, Sr., Jack Nicholson, and Tom Hanks and you have a pretty tough 6 to crack.  I would have to say the greatest of all time is in those 6 somewhere.  But I don't really want to venture out and try to figure out which one.

All that being said, best actor ever is Bruce Campbell!

What would be a legitimate reason to break up with your significant other?

There is a whole laundry list of good reasons to break off a relationship/marriage.  Here are some of the more important ones:

They turn into a zombie.  They eat dogs.  They cheat on you.  They spend all your money on hookers and blow.  They think it is perfectly acceptable to abuse children.  They turn into a wolf during a full moon.  They have more than 4 separate personalities living inside them.  Their head spins around (completely), they masturbate with a crucifix, and they vomit pea soup (after not eating pea soup).  They are into doing things with feces, vomit, or urine (shudder!).  They are really the other gender and have been just fooling you.  They do awful things to animals.  They watch America's Next Top Model.  They think that incest is best (which in that case, they are probably related to you then and you shouldn't even start a relationship).  They are a demon.  They have gills.  They are followers of Gozar the Gozarian.  Their favorite movie is "Kids".  They like the band Rush.  They hate Pearl Jam.  They have a tail.  They have a tattoo of your face on them...before you guys meet for the first time.  They don't swear, ever (never trust someone who never swears!).  They voted for George W. Bush twice.  And finally, they are Denver Broncos fans.

Now, there are plenty more.  But these are things that I consider to be deal breakers.

Edit 05/09/08

Thought of another one that would be an instant deal breaker, they like the band Creed.
