| I thought it was called Spring *Break* for a reason. :< Monday I was at my parents house-sitting, I didn't feel good. I had to work Monday night. I felt sick, but I couldn't leave work because we were already 3 cashiers short. I threw up when I got home :< :< Tuesday I was sick too, I just stayed home all day in bed. Wednesday I had to run errands and then go to work. Today I am volunteering at the Boy's Club, then I have to work at church. Tomorrow is more volunteering, work, and then work at church.
Grrrr
At least I am able to sleep in...I am going to miss that. But I wanted to work on homework this week too....hmm.....we'll put that as a NO.

*edit* I do kinda wanna see "Shutter" Friday night if anyone else wants to go. Not sure what time.

| I just finished reading "I am Legend" by Richard Matheson. WOW that story is creeeepy. Now I am ecstatic to see the movie; unfortunately, they must have very recently taken it out of the theaters :< But it comes to DVD in mid-March, so that's not too long.
But it is pretty creepy for anyone who has the inclination to read it.
I heard the movie is a lot different, but that's ok, I still want to watch it.

God. Why did I take 20 hours this semester??? I should have just shot myself, hahaha.
Super Bowl this Sunday! Of course, my team, the Vikings, was nowhere NEAR close....well, there's always next year. I want the Giants to win simply to beat the Patriots.
We are reading "The Scarlet Letter" in The Novel. Grrrr....I hated that book in 11th grade, but I am trying....grrr....
I love my townhouse so much!!
Josh cleaned the living room today, and also the kitchen. It looks soooo much better, there is actually room now. And this morning he got up and cooked me breakfast in bed! Pancakes, eggs, and orange juice. It was so sweet...he has been really loving recently. woot.
Grr my last week at work and I am scheduled 5 days this week. bastards.
Josh and I have been playing Mario Galaxy, it's really fun.
I haven't been able to ride recently because of bad weather and business :<
I want to get a puppy! I think we will in a month or two.
Well I'm gonna do homework and watch a movie.

| Selling My Soul to the DevilOkay. I am doing it. After years of vowing never to do this horrible, horrible deed--today I am going to Sam's Club to apply. Not for a membership--for a job. Why, you may ask? After only working for a month at Hastings? Well, I will tell you.
1) My first day at Hastings, one of my coworkers made a drug deal from his cell phone in the office. While he was still on the clock. Not only that, but 2 of the managers were in the office and knew exactly what was going on. They were laughing about it. And did nothing.
2) My boss always talks about how he goes out and gets high during his lunch break. He then proceeds to tell me the drugs he did the night before. And he has a management position.
3) I didn't realize until I received my first check that--I am making minimum wage! I do not want to put up with a just okay job and only make minimum wage, especially at so unprofessional a place. I have been in the workforce 6 years--hell no am I gonna stay at a place making minimum wage.
4) The head manage has, over the course of his career there, slept with at least 5 chicks that have worked there--apparently, a couple of them have kids by him. One of the girls he slept with and she had his baby quit there, but just recently started back. And the thing is, he is NOT attractive. At all.
5)Sam's Club starts out over $2 an hour MORE than I am making right now. Yup. If I work 25 hours a week, that's an extra $50 a week, $200 a month. That is a big difference.
6)Sam's Club has good hours.
7)I know 2 people that work at Sam's Club.
I like my job at Hastings, but I hate the unprofessional environment and all the unprofessional people that work there. It is just...weird. I mean, I know all that stuff goes on everywhere, but it's not usually out in the open! And openly accepted by management!
