19 days and a wake up...

Hard to even imagine...Just how far I've come.

It feels like yesterday...It feels like forever...

Will anyone recognize me? Will I still act the same? Will it still be the same as I left it?

I don't know...but I don't want this to be like all those other times...

This time I care.

Maybe it will only be the same in memory...Thinking of it sends chills down my spine...

Walking to Ashley's house on a windy evening, with that shade of bronze cast on all the brick houses...Sitting on Zach's roof, playing the guitar at 3 in the morning...Standing outside with Bryce on his balcony, smoking a stoge to the sound of Nirvana...

These are the memories that have kept me alive.

So I will return in hopes of finding what I left behind...Regardless of whether I should succeed or fail...I will  go back to that calm place I had once called home.
