...to update one's blog.
However, when the owner of that blog is unable to accomplish that task, they have the option of employing someone of thier choosing into updating it for them. So, I told dad last night that I would hack in (which is a benefit of knowing his login info) and update it for him. Seeing as my dad left off with the trip to Florida, I'll start there.
September: Return from FL on the 6th. Spoke @ Patriot's day on the 10th. We got a foreign exchange student named Pow on the 10th. I left to DC with Teenpact on the 16th. Enrolled Pow in Koinonia. Campaign.
October: Campaigning Teaching Pow about American Government and Politics Working on the church's "Trunk or Treat" project.
November: 72 hour Task Force Laurah's 7th Birthday was on the 7th Thanksgiving - which was quiet and dad was sick, but it worked out. Drove on the "open road" on the 24th Valerie's 9th Birthday on the 28th Speech and Debate finals at Koinonia on the 28th as well. (I got to grade...**halo**)
Alot of things have been going on with work and church so Dad has been very busy. He's in the Church's Christmas play, which according to him is going to be really neat. He's also the 2nd charismatic in the baptist chior, which makes it funny to watch on Sunday. He and the other member will be moving and everyone else is standing still.
My siblings have been on Chistmas break since election week and won't resume until January. Pow is studying for his government final today and takes it tomorrow. He *should* do well, though he had a very interesting teacher who was absent most of the time. My mom and I taught speech and debate at the school Pow is going to. It's supposedly a "Christian" school, however the students don't exemplify it. Dad and I went to hear a 4 star general speak on NATO and Democracy which was quite interesting. We learned alot about the switching of "power" from the US to NATO over in Afghanistan. Then, Pow went with me to an Economic Thinking seminar about NATO and Democracy. He didn't like it and he fell asleep during quite a bit of it.
Sorry this post wasn't issue centered. I may upload something deeper later on or let dad know that he needs to put something a bit more interesting on his xanga. However, if you're looking for something worth while to read, you'll find it here, here, and here. Or on the blog network at www.regenerateourculture.com
