when i got home yesterday, it was about 5:00 PM and i didn't get up until noon the following day. that's the second time i've done something like that. i now have a relapse of my cold because Peartree wouldn't let us bring our coats when we were outside in the cold and fierce wind to get the mat yesterday. thanks a lot, Peartree. i hate you.

anyway, the first time we performed we did pretty good, but the second time wasn't as great. i took a nice hot shower when i got up this afternoon. it's feels great to be clean.

COMPETITION TOMORROW! i'm gonna be so nervous right before we go on. i can't wait until it's over cuz that's when the REAL fun begins. SLEEPOVER IN A STRANGE CLASSROOM! i'm bringing some movies, all my CDs, the 400 page issue of Vogue that i bought tonight, etc.

anyway, about my classes. Minyard is very particular about her numbering system. she has our desks numbered, as well as our lab handouts that are also laminated. i think the entire class should just put everything in the wrong order just to see her blow up. that'd be classic.

we did pantomime in theater today. we had a week to prepare a 4-min scene all without words with a partner. i made up a scene about going to an amusement park. i think we did pretty well. there's this really cute guy that's in theater, but he hasn't been to class in three days. i don't want him to leave, i like having something nice to look at. lol

wow...19 hours of hard work within a 36 hour period? i've destroyed me knees, i have these weird marks on my right shoulder, i can barely lift anything heavy without both my arms hurting, and even when i sit on my bed, my ass hurts. we worked out most of our drill routine. i still have a lot of improvement to do on spinning the flag and rifle in the air. i also have to do plenty of work on my routine. i woke up feeling sore and out of it today, so i refused to go to church. (as if i'd wanna go even if i wasn't feeling crappy). dinner last night was HILARIOUS. most of us sat in a circle and some people acted like they were on crack or something. it was rather funny, though Brian was immune to laughter.

i really made a fool out of myself in winterguard today. i was barely doing ANYTHING right. then were doing some stupid rountine with the rifle that i wasn't getting and when Birnbaum tried to correct me, i had it. i walked out and burst into tears. i had already been close to tears because of other things i sucked at, but that was the last straw. Katy and Jay came after me and stroked my hair and back while i cried. (you two are the best, you have no idea.) after i calmed down, we got to talking sitting on the grass and we laughed a lot. it was getting really cold though, so we went back inside to help fold up the area mat. i really get so mad at myself when i can't get something right, especially several things at once. it was just too much. next time i feel on the verge of tears, i'm sitting down until i get calm.

it's going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG semester.

1st period: Spanish 2; not bad, Kadia's in there with me, there's at least one friend. it's smaller than my Spanish 1 class, which is good. they were so freaking obnoxious, loud, and rude, it's not even funny. won't be happening this semester. Marshburn talks in all Spanish now, unless it's to teach us something new

2nd period: Chemistry; i'm betting a million bucks this class will be as terrible as bio was. there's prolly 28 kids; i know some people, but none of them are what i would consider actually friends; it's gonna be really hard not to fall asleep

3rd period: Jr. L.A; not bad, there's 13 people in my class; an even mix of juniors and sophomores; i actually know some people; Amanda Porter's in there too, though she won't be back until next week; she'll definitely make it interesting; the teacher's cool too, she's probably in her late 20's

4th period: Intro to Theater; i know only two people in this class, one of them i can't stand and one of them...well...she's undecided- at the moment; i'm not sure how i'm gonna like this class; there's one dude who's so obnoxious and disgusting, it's not even funny; most of the people in there are ones who got stuck in there and didn't even sign up for it

thank the stars there's winterguard tomorrow. Katy and I don't have lunch together anymore, so i won't be seeing her except at practices. Tori, Jay, and I all have lunch together, so that's good
