| Is it insane to close on a house four days before your due date?

| House Pictures! Here it is! Please note the rocking chair front porch -- ( I love porches!) and the trees...
This kitchen is fantastic! The picture can't do it justice at all, but I am in love with it - the cupboards are NOT tan/beige/gray as they appear in the picture - they are sage green, and it actually works. Come by and you'll see! :)

Here's the master - don't you LOVE those windows? The original hardwood floors are everywhere in the house - none of that carpet stuff! I think that will be an invaluable asset when little muddy boots tramp through the halls...
Here's baby's room - the current residents also have a little boy, so it's already painted blue for him! Isn't that thoughtful of them? I can't wait to decorate it for our little man!
There are 4 bedrooms total - the other two are downstairs - and 2 full baths, one on each floor.
And THIS is the gorgeous backyard - not too big, not too small - just right for a growing family! :)
We're pretty excited - I think it's the perfect house for us and we're going to have lots of room to grow into it. In fact, taking stock of our furniture, I'm a-thinkin' it will be a bit empty for a while, but I'm great with that. We'll have plenty of time to fill it with babies!
P.S. - It has a very nice guest room on the first floor, so when you all come to visit, you won't have to sleep on the futon! :)

| Erin*shudder* The flaying of conscience for the paycheck - the artist's bane. Oh yeah. Rather whorish. 4:44pmErinIt's like playing the Canon in D 15 times for a wedding. Somewhere, your soul dies that your body may live. :) You should write that on your blog. It's lovely. 4:44pmErinI should! People can put it on T-shirts.... | | |
| We officially have a house!

| I can't even sit close to the table anymore.....Last night, I made mashed potatoes for dinner. I beat them up a bit, then set the blender down to get the milk from the fridge. And somehow, the beaters and blender made a daring dash for freedom and splattered buttery mashed potatoes all over the kitchen floor.
And the thought of bending over nearly made me cry. I stared at the mess, unmoving. And I said very calmly, "This is me not saying bad words."
And my darling husband said, "I'm proud of you. Don't move - I'll get it." He then grabbed the paper towels, wiped it all up in a flash and said, "There! It's like it never happened!"
I love my man so much.
P.S. - We're on a roll. Two bad/boring movies in a row. Maybe tonight will break the spell...
