Well, computer blew up 2 weeks ago, needed to get a replacement which should come in either today or tomorrow. Once it's all installed and set up I will be back online (for now I am having a network connection and computer loss retrieval syndrome! I'm a computer chick can't live without it! I am going even more insane than I already am t.t)

I hope I still can retrieve backups of the lineage, that download and updates following take forever...)

I Love Diamonds!

Made this a few days ago with a lot of help from the pledge acquiring the steward's scroll (first from Karmoth, one from Powered one from Signu and last one we got from Varlok while doing the lvl 50 all class quest). I tried to bring as many as possible to the quest to enjoy the experience. It's fun to see mops casting so many different spells (except the ghost that cancels every second).

Comments about this sword: it's an insane weapon for royals (would be for most classes too), when you consider also small and large dmg, the added stats and especially the +2 to hit and +2 dex, this makes it one of the best all around (1 handed weapons) in game. It's also unbreakable!. Personally I find it unbalanced but sure won't complain about it. It fits well within the LOA ruleset I guess.

No Rant! Fun stuff!!

Yep another scroll goes into KoD's collection of TOI 100 scrolls (Grats to dark and DOnky for hunting it) Total Scrolls: 1 TOI 100f. Thanks reapers for being generous (this one gotten from toi 66)

Back In game... Time for another Royal Rant

Long time since I last posted. With all that went through in game, added to it being not enough in shape to play. Started coming back to game gradually in last few weeks hehe.

I actually was surprised that what was left of KoD was still there. I must also say, I find a lot of the things that sickened me with the pledge and that made me want to disband improved a lot. I have been much tougher on a few things and tried to relax on others :P. Still trying to let go of most of the silly things that frustate me. However there are still a lot of things to do...

One of the things that irritate me, is lack of trust and cooperation between members. To me it's a shame seeing people in pledge taking advantage of each other. This is not generalized, but I have a VERY hard time coping with that. Also, we can all benefit from one another, in numerous ways. Pisses me off seeing people only there to rip benefits and outraged when you ask things out of them. Not going to go in details , would be easy to write a book about it.

Another thing I really dislike is people that beg, and those that can't make an effort. What I value is hard work and good will. Do well and I and others in pledge will come out of their way for you. If you don't, well it's your choice, methinks you'll be out pure and simple.

Having said that, would be rather unfair to ban or get rid of a lot of people. I and others in pledge had given up on some of you guys in KoD. I decided to revert this (on my part). And am hoping/expecting the others who feel the same to give an other chance to some...

I am still considering options pledge wise. I have quite a lot of goals, either on the personal level or pledge level. Some of those goals, I'll have to give up on, others I won't let go of. What would interest me is an open discussion within pledge of this:P, think if we put ourselves in it fully we can find acceptable compromises.

I spent years building up and waiting for people to grow as a group, and be able to take more and more challenges. In order to stay sane, and still enjoy the game, let's say the things I have done in the last 2 months like reducing pledge size, demanding more or speaking more my mind out was only a small start. I am not sure how I will go about it yet. I'll talk to bp about it and discuss options with current guardians. I said that I did not care reducing pledge size by 90%, if it's the only way I see to have a solid team, I guess I will have to do it Btw lvel doesn't matter, it's more about people than individual strength. with practive it's amazing our weak people like me can do when part of a good team.

As I said before I am extremely tired of seeing some sacrifying themselves for people who just are in to rip benefits. My view of a pledge is one of a tight united group of people. Hard to do on a large scale... Probably feasible but I would like to spend less time babysitting and more doing things.

What I would eventually like to see is knowing that whatever happens, every member will back each other fully. That everyone in pledge doesn't see getting stronger a solo thing, but getting everyone stronger. And that doesn't come only though items, levels and cold hard adena. Also means when we hunt, bosses we find, areas that we go to, we can hunt as teams. Involves also developping skills as individuals and as a group. I don't care much for solo artists. I do think best way to level is actually soloing or in very small parties. However doesn't hurt too much to go the extra mile once in a while and take someone who can use the help and learning on a hunt. One complaint that comes regularly is that some guys are not trusteable in hunts, not even talking about drop shares here. I mean some people just don't have the skills. I think if we invest more time with them, they will acquire those skills and get better... I have been trying to hunt with as many as I can, With the pledge size It's hard to be everywhere at once, while pursuing my level goals , pledge hunts, afk time lol, trying to get to know everyone well etc... I am hoping more and more try to get acquainted to each other. Oh and to the shy people! Don;t be afraid to talk! Join in on hunts too, and don;t be scared of asking questions! If u stay in ur corner afraid to get to know people, odds are you will feel lonely.

Anyways my goals right now are to help develop skills for some, develop group hunting skills, clean pledge much further of anyone who isn't willing to work a system that is a compromise of my views of a pledge (I am aware i am asking probably too much of everyone when it comes to supporting one another :P ), start getting some of those rare items and spells I would like very much to have in pledge, and level up more.

Oh and last thing! Find a viable solution everyone can agree too, so i don't hear bickering over sharing crappy drops again. I feel at times i have seen it all, from the person asking to have splits from a brave a drake dropped! yes divide a brave in 6, or even an argument over a bdai when about 6 people who are all quite rich were in on the drop, come on people what's the point! I can understand very well you cringe when we get something expensive that i want to go to a bp member for free or minimal cost but for god's sake don't be morons about cheap things.

Last thing,we've been killing tons of bosses lately. Actually most of them can be done with a very small pledge, some of us strong enough to kill them (even me although it can cost a fortune lol ). Basically doing the math, there are about 20 people I am sure of who are willing and are trusting each other enough to achieve most of the goals I have, maybe not now but with time yes. Those people share similar values. One of my option would be to just keep a pledge with them. It's a drastic solution though, but really at this stage for them as well as for me, I believe it's a viable one. Have been very much rough on joining new blood in pledge, actually i joined only 3 new people in the last 3 months, while i lost/got rid about 40 lol ( Sys made me adopt a kid with him,a nd i joined our new son's rl friend -new players, everyone knows i have soft spot for new players, and i joined brownknight) rest of people who joined are actually people who rejoined pledge. Will keep refusing to join except for the odd exceptions for a long time more. Would like people to realize KoD isn's a haven to level up and stay out of fights or kill bosses. It's a Blood pledge, a family, and I would like people to realize I feel priviledged to play with so many great players, and friends. And I would like members to feel priviledged about being part of it :P
