OMG..I'm feeling so outdated. I've figured it out how to edit a picture by using adobe photoshop. Hmm..testing.. A month ago I had long curly hair and now with my straight hair back...I kindda miss my curly hair although it sure add figures to my age. People mistaken me that I'm a married woman, you know, like just got married. Oh no...I'm aging. Woman's no.1 fear! To have wrinkles all over your face.

I have to accept the fact that you can't beat the time as it is moving fast and forward. The nature is that eventually women will age and lose their youthfulness. I bet every woman's dream is to regain their youthfulness and stay young always. Accepting of who you are becoming is one of the important factor to boost our self-esteem.
Metabolism rate tend to slow down after you reach a certain age. Increase our metabolism rate takes time and need to have constant exercises. Sometimes I do wonder why every woman is so bothered about how they look and other people's point of view. It doesn't matter as at the end of the day we still age and die. I prompted this question once to myself but I realised something... it's just like as if i'm saying why not don't make our bed early in the morning and just rushed out from house since at night we still be sleeping on it anyways. But that wouldn't be so ethical thing to do, right? Losing weight do make us feel good!
I've spend a lot of time watching anime and japanese drama, "Garo". Finished the whole 27 episodes including "The Beast of the White Night Part 1 & 2". It was quite a interesting drama and I would recommend anyone to watch it if you like horror, thriller and fantasy kind of movie. It is far way better than Power Rangers. I'm a fan of all the series. But it would be better if they improve the graphics just a little bit more. This link will direct you to the overview of "Garo". Enjoy!

300 words about my friend
I was supposed to write something about my friend, Jean mostly on her personality and attitude. Was helping her with her assignment and need to hand my thoughts to her lecturer by tonight. And finally I came up with an idea on what to write about her and what I think about her. This is the outcome of it. Don't laugh. It might sound hilarious to some of you who knew her. I got too excited when I wrote a testimonial about her. Too much need to be written.
" Hey Presto! People known her as Jeanette the Great, just pulling your leg. But the truth is I bet everyone in the college knew who is Jeanette Siew, another significant icon or subjective form that people would noticed. On the other hand, I'm another side of her, totally opposite from who she is but I'm still surprised that we can get along very well. I knew her few years back after I've shifted to this hectic place. She caught my attention when the first time I saw her. No, I'm definitely not falling for the same kind, it's just that something very genuine about her that captured my heart.
She's amazingly stunning and everytime I went shopping with her, the men eyes will sticked to her like a UHU glue or they would turned their head 360 degree just to get another glimpse of her. Some might anti-her, especially the girls but seriously after I gathered all the possible analytical resources, I noticed myself that most of the girls do envy her. She's being herself truly and not afraid of letting people know what's on her mind. If you ever play the game Dare or Truth with her, she probably will get the credit in Dare instead of another one. She's tough and super duper hyper active in whatever she does. She's enthusiastic to chase her dreams. Despites being so goal-oriented, she still easily influenced by other people's bad remarks on her. What I personally think that she should take things lightly.
She appears to be a tough girl but deep down after knew her for so long, she is just as fragile as any other girl on this planet. Not kidding! You might see her full of energy at all times but whenever there is just one person that comes along and say bad things to her and any negative-related matters to her, her day from a sunny day will suddenly be a rainy day. And that sums it up to what she feels at the end of the day. Her mother comments and advises are the greatest influence of all compared to other people. She cares for her mother a lot. She loves her friends and she is a fun person to be with. She can lighten up your day by just being herself. Although sometimes you need to get a break from her. She can go outdoing it. Well that was one of the issue I had with her last time but now she's becoming more mature and broaden her perspective. Life is not just evolved with being with the same person at all times, she finally learned this reality.
She is very generous when it comes to money. But this only applicable when she is with the person she likes or fancy. She can be calculative but which is a good thing, you see. I can seriously tell you that I'm pretty amazed when she can count the distance and petrol usage and etc...anything that is related to the money and most importantly she is being economical wise and trying to save as much money as possible. At times I do think that why she doesn't want to become an accountant? Or a financial consultant? She's very good in budgeting herself, although there are times there are certain things that can make her overspend. Once she ran out of money, she doesn't just sits there, she thrives more for the money. Being a freelancer and a knowledgable student at the same time is not an easy task. I can imagine how much pressure is on her but she can still handle them very well. I'm proud of her.
Jeanette Siew is also a very hygenic person but sadly not meticulously neat. Although she takes care of her belongings pretty well and know where she puts her stuff inside her room, I would categorised her room as a C+ for neatness. Outside it appears to be B- room but once you look in detail and open some of the drawers...Oh My all sort of junks you could find in her room. However, she always make sure her belongings are in tip toe condition and would not ruin them. She treasures her stuff more than what other people gave to her. For instance, there was once she overnight at my house and the following day, she just washed her clothes with her hands and detergent immediately after she woke up. I asked her to wait but she refused to as she said she did not want the bad smell seeped into her clothes. The night before we had a party and it was a smoky night. She even washed her heels together. I was dumbfounded by her act. I never seen such a person before.
Being a student like her, I can imagine 24/7 a day is not enough. She needs extra one hour in a day to get her things done. She filled up her time with all the things that she loved to do and I should say that she is actually not procrastinating. When she told me that everyone had the same opinion about her and she was famous for being a lazy queen. I wouldn't think so exactly. I don't see she as a lazy person but instead I think she is pretty hardworking in everything she does. She doesn't waste her time for whatever she feels not right or anything is on her way, she will deal with that problem first. But she needs someone to be with her, someone like me to support her. Haha...Yes I see myself as a motivator or a pusher to her. A good friend indeed.
I almost forgot to introduce myself as I'm overwhelmed by this topic. My name is Elizabeth, her best friend. Trust me for what I've said about her, no one knows her better than I do. I've known her for several years since form 4 in secondary school. We laughed, we cried, we shared our deepest fears, that would be cockroaches. I could run like a wind to stay far away from those dirty and disgusted ugly creatures. No we would not have "Siu Keong" as our pet. And I believe she would rather to have "Ah Keong" as her pet. Haha...if you understand what I mean."
The ending part not many people will understand. I'm leaving you guys to ponder.
Just flew to Kuching not long ago. I slept well in Eric's bed. So comfortable. Just dozed off easily. Left my office for two weeks, under unpaid leave of course! But it is a good start for me to work here. I got to expose to more things in this office. They are very systematic and what you have to do is follow their ways and work it out on your own. The saddest part is I can't online in the office. But once the Desa Mantin project is over, the head of admin might set up each of the computer to have internet access. What I can only do in the office is to give my 101% concentration in my work to earn that extra increment.
Esther was mentioning to be about a gala night in Kuching. You know...all the girls get to make up and dress up in an evening gown for a reunion party, more like a ball. I hope she will come up with good ideas this time. I'm thinking of buying a designer dress from Veronica...yeah like those that you have only one collection throughtout the world with a special price. Vero, I owe you a big one this time. But wait till I get my hands over the dresses... haha..Another set of motivation for me to lose weight. Argh..bummer. I'm fatter than ever.

Job Hunting Was A Success
Yes, I got the job! I went for the interview two days ago on Wednesday, 6pm. I arrived earlier than the actual appointment, went through the normal process, filling up the forms and handed in my resume. Just edited my resume a day before that. I felt a cold shiver went down through my spine and really anxious of whether I will be getting the job. What I've expected in the salary was higher but managed to bargain with the soon-to-be my boss and after hoo-haa-hoo-haa, ker-ching! Got what I've wanted and I'm pretty satisfied with the amount she requested to me.
Back to my hectic normal life. Work from the dawn till dusk, to be precise from 9am to 6pm. No overtime though. Whatever my efforts putting in this new firm will be reflected in my pay cheque in the coming 3 months. I hope I'm up to her standard. Eric, you do believe in me right? Thanks for all the support all this while and so look up to me. I'd really appreciate it. If it's not the positive attitude from you and those encouraging words from you, I guess I don't know what to do with my life. Thanks a lot honey...you are the best.
Meeting up my Kuching girlfriends tomorrow. Love to see them again. Reminds me of the old days. Ahhh...how nice to indulge in that kind of feelings. You know, no one can leave without friends. Learned something new in my life. Few people looked for me recently, my ex-colleague, Kris was calling me up and checked how was I doing. So I asked her back how's my ex-office and etc...her message to me was...
"Great to hear from you. A lot of things happened here that you can't believe at all! Let us meet if can then we chat and chat..."
Haha... So miss my ex-colleagues. If it wasn't for the $$ I would have never left my company. Daily routine-work and study..work and study...the list goes on and on till I get my first degree. Now my focus is to get a degree, nothing more or less than that. I need to achieve that first. Priority in life! Results coming out in October!! Phew...
Cheers!! The recent me in Shogun, One Utama. Thanks to Jean for the treat.
Notice something different? I straightened my hair back.

Rejuvenate-Revive-Relive
Is there such word as relive? I guess so right. Been so lost for the last two months. Never felt so lost. I'm turning into one hopeless chick, more like a stray cat wandering around the street. It's bad, very bad for my soul and health and also for my youthful body. I've been neglecting a lot about my looks and the inner soul. Lost in this world. Where no one truly understand how I feel deep inside. Buried my true feelings inside..and don't even know how to detect it. No..nothing to do with other people. Just me, only ME.
What a life. Sigh...I said that to myself. Stop potraying to be someone else and living in a disguise. I said that to myself again. Enough of having such kind of life. I want to have my normal life back that is being a cheerful girl who stays positive all the time. Where is that strong girl living inside me? When can she unleash herself and gain back that full confidence again? Is this a must? So many questions popped out in my mind suddenly.
I deserve a better me. I deserve a better person than who I am now. I deserve to be the woman who I always wanted to be. I need to rejevunate-revive-relive my life. Sort it out all the problems and issues in hand. Getting back on the right track. Fulfill my living dreams and just stay put reaching out the goals. I can do it. I must do it. Look forward not backwards... I demand all those unhappiness things that happened in my life be deleted off from my memories and only kept those sweet memories. Look forward..stay forward...

Back to work.
I made a survey of myself.
The career makeover.
This is the results: -
Elizabeth, you're a Architect!
For you, the world is like one giant puzzle, just waiting to be solved. In your undying quest for the truth, you're best at finding solutions to complex problems. Lucky for all of us, though, you love to share your brilliant thoughts. Your keen analytical skills and understanding of others makes you a vital player in the think tank. You thrive on the collaborative problem-solving process, could trouble shoot for NASA, and won't rest until the questions are answered. The world could use a few more divas like you.
Who's like you:
Madeline Albright (former U.S. Secretary of State)
Likely careers:
Psychologist, lawyer, market researcher, military strategist, PR strategistIn life you can make your own decisions or let other people make those decisions for you. Being Above The Influence is about staying true to yourself, and not letting people pressure you into being less than you. So be yourself. Or be something less. It's your call.
I'm a architect? Sounds fun. One of the likely career is to become a lawyer. I do wish my dreams will come true one day. I gotta work harder to achieve my dreams and goals in life. I need to strive harder this time. No time to lose. Next month I should be in the hunt for a new job. Yes, still in conveyancing line. One whole month to find somewhere near my new place in Damansara. Heard that the job pay there is higher than in KL. Is that true?
I've been working hard in the gym, although just resume my work out two days ago. I would say it is a good progress. I'm so determined to lose weight and stay fit. Had the best time of my life doing the stuff that I like alone. Just living my life the way I wanted. Everywhere is on sales now. I went MNG, Zara, Naf Naf, Guess and few other shops to shop and shop and shop. I practically shop till I drop. Haha.. It's been a long while since I've shopped like that. Bought some dresses and nice skirts and tops as well. All suits my taste. ^^ I hope I'm not turning into a shopaholic...
Currently in CyberZone. They are playing the songs that I fancy. Feel like dancing. Miss clubbing with Eric. Hmmm...

Organize a Home Office
Hey guys..I'm back! Escaped from the world of exams. Barely survived from it. I'm very sad about it. I really hope the other 3 papers turn out well at later date. I noticed and realised that being a law student is so tough. It takes lots of effort to succeed in this course. The credibility of reading law and applying it during exams time are totally different aspects. I admit I have not enough practices, not literally of course. What I'm trying to say is that I don't practice well in answering the questions in such limited time. The process goes from the first minute to the very last minute of 3 hours and 15 mins. Every seconds count. Every words you write count. Every flow of the memory from your brain count. To be precise, everything counts!
For each type of law I've studied, for instance, Constitutional Law, Tort Law, Islamic Law, Malaysian Legal System and Contract Law, and for each paper, I have 45 mins to answer for each question. In order to be on the safe side, I need to write four full pages for each answers, and total questions that need to be answered is 4 as well. So total would be 16 pages for 4 questions in 3 hours 15 mins. Not to mention that the 15 mins is for you to read the question and gather all your thoughts and make sure that for each points you elaborate..you MUST have your authority to support your answer. If not, it wouldn't count as a good answer! That's what I personally think and the lecturer mentioned that too. Need to crack my brain more and to be fully prepared next year.
First I need to start my Home Office area inclusive of the Study Area. I need to make it as comfortable as possible as I will be spending most of my time in this area to gain knowledges and study my principles of law! I made a couple of researches and here were the results on what is efficient to have in the room and so forth. Start with... the Bookcases for my law books.
"Bookcases are a classic way to organize any room in an instant. A small, two-shelf bookcase makes a great nightstand in a bedroom that's short on storage space. A large, multi-shelf bookcase can stand against the wall of a living room and hold an entire library of books. Add a bookcase to the home office to hold printers, textbooks, and CD-ROMs within easy reach of the desk."
"However you choose to use them, bookcases are ideal for any area that needs some extra storage. Choose a bookcase that is stained or varnished to match the rest of your furnishings, or choose one in a brilliant contrasting color to really make an impact."
Secondly I probably need something to remind my schedule as not to miss anything out in a week. Appointments, duty calls, classes, important meetings and the list goes on and on. It is best to have a bulletin board displayed in my room so whenever I'm free I can refer back instantly on what I'm suppose to do on that particular day. I just need to make it as a habit as motivation keeps you started but habit keeps you going. Haha...Sounds familiar the quote?
"Adding bulletin boards to your home is a great way to instantly organize and prioritize just about anything. A bulletin board in the kitchen is ideal for grocery lists and phone messages. Kids love bulletin boards in their bedrooms, where they can proudly display their latest drawings and school papers. Bulletin boards are also essential in the home office for calendars, appointment cards, and reminder notices."
"If you find yourself constantly misplacing your notes or losing track of information, bulletin boards are the perfect solution. Some bulletin boards feature colorful ribbons that cross over the surface to hold notes in place with a touch of style. Others have painted borders and fabric detailing that makes them great for use in any room."
What other things that I need to be in my room? Erm...probably a computer desk for my new PC. Yeah that would be great.
"Almost everyone nowadays has a home computer, and sometimes organizing the area where the computer is kept can be a little difficult. Computer desks can help cut through the clutter and create a comfortable workspace."
"Computer desks come with many different features to suit your needs. Some have pull-out keyboard holders, while others have multiple shelves overhead for storing books and software. Choose a computer desk with a printer shelf to keep the printer close at hand and easily accessible."
"Computer desks are available in a wide range of colors, styles, and materials. A sleek metal computer desk looks great in a contemporary setting, while a wooden desk finished to match the room creates a traditional look."
Should I combine the computer desk with a writing desk? I think it would safe a lot of space, huh? But I'm totally into the metal type of computer desk. I think they look professional and sleek. Don't you guys think so? Need to decide based on my budject then."A writing desk is an elegant way to create an instant workspace in any room. A writing desk differs from a computer desk in that it is not meant to hold computers or electrical components. Instead, a traditional writing desk has a large flat surface for writing, often with drawers on the front of the desk for papers and pens."
"Adding a writing desk to your home makes it easy to do the household bills and budgets, or to sit down and write a letter. Add a writing desk to your childrens' room to give them a place for homework or art projects."
"Writing desks come in a wide variety of styles, from traditional Queen Anne wooden desks to contemporary desks made of sleek metal and chrome. Choose a writing desk that complements your current decor, and let it create an instant oasis for quiet time."
I must make sure that I have a comfortable chair to sit on it as I will be spending hours in front of my computer and also studying. The right posture is essential to avoid any backache as I do have back shoulder problem. So..
"Adding the right office & computer chairs to your work area isn't just a luxury- it's a necessity. If you spend lots of time sitting at a desk, chances are good that you may end up with backaches or painful carpal tunnel syndrome. The right office & computer chairs can improve your posture significantly and prevent work-related injuries from occurring."
"Office & computer chairs come in many sizes and styles. For best results, you may have to test out several chairs to find the one that works for you. Do some research and learn what type of chairs you like to make your search a little easier. Do you need wheels, a padded back, arms, or a swivel? The choices are practically endless."
Organizers? Organize the documents or case studies so I can keep track of every single item. Lots of notes to be keep and as you know it can amount to tremendous quantity of papers. So the best is to be organized and systematic.
"With daily life becoming busier and more hectic than ever before, organizers are an invaluable addition to any home or office. The right organizer can keep track of anything you can imagine, from phone numbers and addresses to meetings, appointments, and even medication schedules."
"Part of the key of being a successful, efficient person is knowing where all of your information is stored and having a place for everything. Organizers help keep your priorities straight and ensure you always know where things are when you need them."
"Choose an organizer based on your personal style for best results. Whether you need a small pocket-sized organizer or a large desktop one, the right organizer should be easily accessible and simple for you to use."
Those are the items I can think of putting inside my study room. Other than that, I might add few items inside such as a sofa, a hi-fi sound system, a vase of flowers...haha what else? Can't make up my mind now. I'm looking forward to set up this study room next year at my new place.
Last Saturday was Ivy's graduation day..Yeah she graduated with a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, which I reckon is a tough course to study. Here are some of the pictures that we took with her phone. Might not be that clear.
Charlies Angel back in action! haha.. I think I will be Drew Barrymore. lol...Ivy should be Lucy Liu. Haha just kidding.
After the long busy day, we went Sushi King, Midvalley to have our dinner. I ate the most. *Gasped* It's because I was too hungry. Whole day didn't have anything. Haha.. Sushi is good for health anyways. :P Ivy said that it is like every year we have our picture taken. 3 of us. How coincidence that the venue also the same. Our friendship really lasts long..14 years of friendship. I guess it's so hard to tear us apart. Friendship forever!! ^^
Congratulations to Ivy again! Hope you will love the sunflowers. Hehe.. Hugsss!!

36 days to exams!
Gosh! Such limited time for me to prepare myself. I'm getting more and more nervous each day. I have 5 heavy subjects. I must do well! I must excel in all of them! God please help me absorb as much knowledge as I can and most importantly been able to answer all the questions!
I don't want to waste much time. Need to be dead serious about this. I vow to stay at home and just study and study...and study. Nothing else besides study! It's sad..but I need to sacrifice my time in leisure. So meaning I won't be blogging for a month from now. Will be login in here after 20th July, 2007. I promise.
But I will blog longer this time. Hey, don't you know? I'm attached to this xanga blog.
Family is very important to me despite of all the ups and downs I've been through with them. They are still no. 1 priority to me. Introducing my family members and where recently my sister declared another member to me. =D Let's see who is it.
My forever beautiful mum and me. Now you know where I got that resemblance! haha
My sister, the biggest lawyer in town (yeah one of the best)! Haha..technically speaking, she's very good in what she's doing till she got an offer in Hong Leong Bank to become the Head of Recovery Department. And her salary... phew... heard that her basic is around 13k. So that's really a huge amount of money.
That's my foreign brother in law. He's an Albanian. I've asked my sister why is she so crazy about european guys. Well..she told me she was opting for an Italian guy but ended up meeting my brother in law. haha..look at the map of the world. Italy is just next to Albania. So it was close to her expectation.
A clearer picture of them. The middle man is not one of my family members! No I won't have such uncle.. his moustache looks soooo weird. Lol..
That's my dad and his first grandchild, Ms Odelia Luari! Hehe.. so adorable right?
I took this picture of her. So funny... I'm a bad aunty. Always make fun of her. Well she's a kid anyways! Life suppose to be enjoyable and fun for her! no drama.. Ok I will give you guys another decent picture of her.
Can't get enough of her. She's our center of attention now. Everyday she would come and bug me! And I had to scream at her sometimes to make her listen. She's soooo naughty! But thank God she doesn't pull my hair anymore.
She's modelling. Haha
So who is the next and soon to be member of my family! :P Of course my other half. Hehe..
Well can't wait for the day to come! In order to do that I need to get my degree first! I've blogged for more than an hour. I have to stop here. Sob sob..Wish me good luck in my exams! Be back in a month time.

Who am I?
-
An ordinary girl who lives in a hectic world. A girl who tries to be strong to face all the challenges in life. A girl who determines to strive for her goals in her life. A girl who just wants to be a woman and be with the man she loves. A girl who is fragile deep inside and yet trying so hard to fight this fragileness. I'm just a girl but not like any other girls.

Who do I speak to? (2)
