| Hey everyone what's up??? I had a very cool day yesterday, lol, we went to a great concert in Forth Worth, where the symphony orchestra played loony toons music. The had a big screen where thy showed different Bugs Bunny (SnurreSnup) cartoons, and then the orchestra played the music to them. It was really cool!! Before the concert we went eating, here comes the... hmm... interesting part of the day. We went eating at a restaurant which looked kinda like British Pup, it was really cool, but the coolest thing was, that the sign out in the front where it said what they served was with Carlsberg!, lol, I didn't notice it until John pointed out that it said 'Copenhagen' at the bottom of the sign, then I looked and saw that there was written 'Carlsberg' on the top, lol, I just thought that was funny... Except for that, we got in, got a table, ordered our drinks, and started looking at the menu - now I have to mention that I've had a cold for a couple of days - when suddenly out of no where my noses started bleeding. The waiter came with some napkins and the problem had found a solution, I'm just wondering what the other tables thought about us. I was sitting with a napkin pressed on my nose while John was quacking The Blue Danube (An der schönen blauen Donau) by Strauss... but you can;t go through life wondering what others are thinking, I for one had a great night... Okey, to complete the story, I can say that there is no hope that I'll ever drink coffee, according to Rashel, after eating, we went to 'Star Bucks' (wanna bet I spelled that wrong?) where we had coffee, I had one called 'white chocolate mocha' or something like that, and Rashel said that if I didn't like that, there was no hope for me ever drinking coffee... I didn't like it, it tasted to much of coffee... Okey, moving on form yesterday to day we're going to one of the girls form our Sunday schools house, and watch some movies, I'm looking forward to that.. See ya.. What, favorite Texas quote - found in Six flags on a fake door - "This here door don't work." | | |
| Sorry, it's been fare to long since my last post.... lots of stuff going on, last weekend was spent in Oklahoma with John and Rashels family, very nice, and Seung-Yeon and I got to miss our finals, or well, we just had to take them other days, but still, it was nice, This weekend I don't think to much's happpening, just sleepihng in and stuff, very very nice... School's going great, and people are nice. Yesterday was "home coming", that is when the football (american football) team comes back to the home field after having played a lot of games on other fields, it was fun to see, and Seung-Yeon and I when to our first football game... *mental note, make sure John can go next time* Rashel isn't a great fan of football, so... I think that's about it.... | | |
| LOST LOST LOST!!!!! I want to watch lost... now, that’s a cliff hanger... It's really great.... Well, it's been a while since I last wrote anything, sorry 'bout that guys.... What's happened, I have no clue... let's see.... John's started playing softball, so we've watched one of his games. School's still going fine... My algebra grade dropped two points but my English's gone up four, so all's well. Do I miss my family 'course I do, would I rather be at home, no way!!! I'm having a great time here, and as I've said so many times before, I ended with the perfect family... Speaking of which, Monopoly is loads more fun when no one from John's family's playing, I beat Seung-Yeon in it today, so I like the game again... No one here likes Danish candy (Piratos) they candy's supposed to be sweet... Only five people have eaten them, my English teacher, out of politesse, my Drama teacher, she'd been to Germany, so she knew it (GaJol) and for students, a guy form Thailand, a girl who's grandmother's Danish (she likes Danish food) and an ROTC, who said he'd eaten loads worse... I had a great time with Grace and Johns mother, they came here last weekend... and Seung-Yeon and I've proved that our friendship can endure anything, even being beaten in Monopoly (we played teams, the two of us vs. Grace and John's mother), we made a miraculous come back, Seung-Yeon and I, but they beat us anyway... But not even that ruined our team spirit, so, point proven. I think that's enough for tonight... | | |
| Something funny happened today in computer class, I was listening to danish Radio, P4, an old program, that I really like, and they played a song, I don't know what it's called, it's about a ladybird (mariehoene) and the singer wanted it to fly up to the Lord and ask for good weather, and the first time the singer sang that, for a fraction of a second, I was back in my grandparents patio, listening to my Grandfather telling me that the legen came before the song, not the otherway around... I could se everything so clearly it was really spookie, but it was over really fast.. it was very strange... | | |
| Long time no write... Well, what's happende since last... Today there was a pepo-raly at school (did I spell that right?) I'd never seen one of those before, it was... well, interesting, those chearleaders can do some pretty cool stuff...
I've seen my grades in English and math, English is 93,5 and math is 95,8 in the Computer test i got 98, so I'm not failing...
Oh, yes, yesterday I went to one of my friends home after school, that was really great. I'm making firends, that's always good...
BTW, someone should give me a medal, I've got a cold, and when you've given me that, give me one for almost haven gotten rid of the cold again...
well, what ells has happened, not much, I guess... oh yeah, we're going to six flags tomorrow, Seung-Yeon and I a really exited...
I TALKED TO MY PARENTS this wednsdag! that was really great, and believe it or not, it made me feel less home sick...
