the research team that i'm on is currently planning a one month trip to Taiwain as soon as school lets out.  I gotta say that i am pretty stoked about that since food, lodging, and plane tickets as well as any other form of travel will be paid for.  Granted, most of the time in Taiwam will be spent actually doing chemistry research, but we'll probably take a four or five day chunk and just go up into the mountains.  going to another country in another continent in a another hemisphere is sure to be a great cultural experience.  i'm psyched!!!

tommorrow i go back to butler (hopefully i will be able to endure the long and arduouse drive).  I am going back order in order to Rush... which will probably prove to be a futile activity of watching other guys drink, because i don't.  That said... THANK GOD I AM GOING BACK!  I AM SICK OF ZIONSVILLE!!!

wish me luck, im really angry at myself cuz my GPA was not what i was hoping for last semester and my effort level was very low.  Naturally i decided to take a much heavier course load this semester... oh well.

I believe that it is fairly safe to say that we live in a cause and effect universe.  Does it not then follow that a cause and effect universe must itself have a cause that either follows that universe's own rules while at the same time causing the universe to exist, or superceeds that universe's rules as it causes the universe to exist?

three cheers to what is the relaxing monotony of christmas break (semi- sarcasm)... they're giving us a month off and honestly i think i might develope a personality disorder by the time it's all over with the overwhelming amount of "me" time that is taking place (not sacrasm).

ok... since so many words have been put in my mouth, ill clarify what i think about evolution and natural selection.

Evolution is a valid theory, though this does not make it factual.  Theory's and laws alike are not neccessarily facts.

Natural selection, i find laughable because i believe that there is no sound basis scientifically to say that the Earth is old enough for natural selection to have lead to evolution.  i believe there is no basis to believe that the Earth is old enough because radioactive dating of all kinds is fundamentally flawed, as i have explained repreatedly.

there you have it, by beliefs about evolution in a nut shell.  please stop telling me that i think evolution is a load of shit.  i never said that, or believed it.
