No, I don't think I do think that.

1. Is that your natural hair colour? Yes.

2. where was your default pic taken? In my grandparents’ bathroom.

3. What's your middle name? Lee

4. Your current relationship status? I have many complex relationships; I am not wearing a hat right now.

5. Honestly, does your crush like you back? If I have one, then yes I believe so – to a certain extent.

6. What is your current mood? Content, a little tired.

7. What color underwear are you wearing? Black and I spell colour with a u.

8. What is one thing that makes you happy? Writing coherently.

9. Three songs that define the three ages of my life

Jingle Bells… I give up. I’m tired. I like the song Jersey Girl. And the dog.

12. Ever had a near death experience? No.

13. Something you do a lot? Pet dogs.

14. What's the name of the song stuck in your head right now? I think it’s call whistle and fish.

15. who did you copy and paste this from? Angelo. (I miss Angelo.)

16. Name someone with the same b-day as you? Ed Baker, Matt Damon

21. What do you usually order from Starbucks? I have ordered tea maybe three times there, so I guess tea – but I wouldn’t say I usually order from Starbucks. Unless you mean people name Starbuck then I usually order communist newsletters – but if you mean characters from books named Starbuck that’s another story altogether…

34. What should you be doing? Brushing my teeth.

35. What was the last thing that made you upset? Probably my apparent lack of focus. That’s code for something else.

37. Do you like working in the yard? Yes, I like reading and writing in the yard.

38. If you could have any last name in the world, what would you want? There is one I am thinking of appropriating but it’s a top secret mission and I can’t discuss it.

40. Do you act different around your crush? I am not around my crush. Also, I don’t like the word crush; it reminds me of pop cans.

Advice for the bored:

Get your parents to bring you home a sister with laryngitis. Then talk to her about her inability to speak. One might think that this would get boring, but it actually only gets funner and funnier as the hours go on.
Things I've done with mine tonight:
asked her questions from the other room
pretended she couldn't understand me/talked really slowly to her
talked about her like she wasn't there
suggest she phone my brother
read to her from my linguistics books about verbal sounds
made jokes about how her verbal skills got her into grad school and now they're gone

This was very entertaining. I haven't really been to sleep in a few days.
Actually the best part was when my dad gave me the phone to translate for her and I had to set up an appointment between her and a man who didn't speak English very well. I couldn't understand either of them but I think she does have an appointment at the bank booked now. I'm just not sure which branch it is at.

In other news, I can officially go to grad school now - and they will give me money to do so.

Yay for KK!

My sister can now go to grad school. She won lots of thing this weekend, including third place in a national engineering project competition and a grad school position working in in electrical engineering - which isn't even her discipline!

I went skating this weekend.

This week I am refereeing the improv games! They run from Tuesday to Friday at Thorneloe. I will run around for hours every night. I am excited!

The importance of drafts...

This is the type of thing I edit out of my essays:

"I'd like to begin this essay as I began this essay: with a series of questions. I began with the question why is Henry David Thoreau writing – not posed merely out of frustration that he did – but also out of a genuine curiosity arising from his articulation of what he values."

Additionally, I would like to make the case that the fact that "Thoreau" and "thorough" are loosely homonyms is a significant coincidence or not coincidental at all..
