It's official!!

I'll be working in Lake Tahoe for my top choice company! I am sooo excited!!

Yep. I'm here. And I basically love it. I am in Austin, which is probably the prettiest city I've been to. I love the hotel I am working at. It is beautiful and most of the people who work with me are pretty cool. Young, but cool. I am in recreation, which basically means I am either at the pool cleaning up or working with kids at Camp Hyatt. Soon I'll switch to the front desk which will be very, very informative and an awesome learning experience BUT it will be VERY challenging. I think I'm up for it though, I sure hope so! I've made a few friends which is great... I think that perhaps I will continue to meet people but generally I am enjoying my time here. I AM, however, trying to prepare myself for late August. All my NAU friends will be going back to school... but I won't be. It makes me really sad. Of course their lives won't stop when Im not there, but part of me wishes it would. That I wouldn't have to miss anything. But oh well. I'll be there come January so Ill just have to catch up then!

Seeing old friends, hanging out with my family, being with my dogs, knowing the side streets and back ways to get somewhere, knowing someone everywhere I go, seeing familiar faces, feeling so much love from my family and especially from people who aren't related to me, and...

being home.
