I can safely say that I do not like driving the people I drive around, because they're very loud and distracting. And then they keep telling me how horrible of a driver I am, which is rather annoying, since they MAKE me take them in the first place. Ungrateful people. So screw that. I'm not really supposed to drive people around anyway, unless it's necessary.

I may be going down to Ocean City, NJ again within the next two weeks. Hopefully. I'm going to be with the guys I hung out with at senior week, which is pretty awesome. I'm trying to persuade my mom to let me stay the night, since I don't want to go for just the day (I'd get there around 10 or 11 AM and would have to leave at 6 PM if I took the bus). I'd be able to get a ride with them I stayed the night, a factor that would influence her approval, since she doesn't want me traveling so much by myself and spending money.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was awesome! Many twists and things that make you want to continue onward. Mmmmmm. I'm trying to reread Half-Blood Prince now, because there are a lot of things from there in the seventh book that I momentarily forgot while reading.

I'm still trying to get a job. Conveniently, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a job anywhere in Springfield - they either are full, are "hiring" but then discard your application, or they just don't want to talk to you. I've applied at just about every place in Springfield Mall, and even Granite Run Mall. I'm thinking of selling some paintings on eBay to make some money, but I don't really want to part with them. I'm selling my textbooks also, but that will have to wait until mid to late August.

Thursday, July 19, 2007

Alas, no parties at my house. I'm too lazy to organize/I feel awkward having people come to my house.

Harry Potter comes out on Saturday!

However, with my mooching off of YuFei, I have in my possession what could very possibly be the seventh book. I've read up to Chapter 20, and it's all VERY convincing. Someone took pictures of every page, and I am having a blast trying to squint my way through all the text. I don't think it was photoshopped, because who would want to photoshop almost 800 pages of text? Also, the pages are all bent, which makes the task even more difficult to do. The texture of the cover peeking behind the pages looks real too. The writing style/plot elements seem like the work of Rowling. And it's so close to the release date....

Even if it is real, I'm still going to purchase a copy to reread. Too much work to read this copy, and I like to have the book to hold. Even if it's fake, it doesn't matter, because this is still a really good story nonetheless, and I would still want to read the real one. :]

Interesting stuff.

Saturday, July 07, 2007

Hm....

Nothing's really happened. I've been hanging out with people more and stuff, which is good. Always nice to get out of the house.

I've been driving more too, and I've been told that I'm good now. A "safe" driver. I just need to drive on highways. >________________< My mom needs to get insurance for me soon. I'm gonna be taking her car around by myself. :]

Some boy issues have arisen I think. What's with that? They're so weird. Also more confusing than their simple outward appearance seems.

Harry Potter is coming out soon. That's exciting.

I think I'm going to have a party thing at my house next week. Check back on that. I don't know what the theme is, or when exactly it is. I think it's between having a chess party, fancy dinner party, barbeque, DDR/karaoke party, or something like that. x_x Tentative date is Wednesday? I'll keep you posted.

Friday, June 15, 2007

EDIT: I GOT MY LICENSE TODAY. :o

Omggggggg. So I went to Ocean City two days ago to visit my friends on Senior Week, and it was one of the best things to happen in a longgg time. I had a lot of fun. :]

The first day, I took the bus there. At the Greyhound terminal, there were these two guys that were talking about me and were like, "Are you from California blah blah?" I said no, but then one of them asked for my number. o_O It was weird. Very strange. So after about 3 hours on the bus, I got picked up by my friends at the terminal there, we went back to the house and chilled for a while. Several Full House episodes were involved. We went to Wildwood and went around on the boardwalk, which was nice. I played DDR for the first time in a long while. :D I think I saw the place where I played it for the first time. <3 Oh, and one of the guys in one of the stores hit on me and another girl in the group. XD His name is ARI. It was so cold. D: We went back and chilled some more. My friend Matt was there too, and he visited. :] Then we had a cookout thing on the grill outside. It was goood. At like 1 AM we went to this really secluded beach and just stood around there, which was nice. It was very serene.

Second day, I had planned to make a cake because it was Tom's birthday that day, and Ted's the day after. So I did that. But there was also this plan that I should cover my legs with whipped cream and chocolate, and lie on a bed with rose petals strewn on it and a heart spelled out with rose petals with condoms making a smiley face in the middle for Tom [I had clothes on]. It was completely frightening, but Tom's reaction was rather hilarious. He came in, saw it, then tried to run out, but people pushed him into the room and locked the door so he couldn't get back out. He was looking around so frantically and was like, "I'm gonna go on a bike ride..." and left out the window on to the roof. XDDD It was greatttttt, but I felt like an asshole. I knew he doesn't like that kind of thing. :/ Poor Tommmm. Only afterwards did they suggest a romantic Italian dinner for the two of us, which was a liiiiiiiittle too late. x_x I would have preferred that better. For Ted, they had his friend Chris strip down to his boxers and do the same, except he had whipped cream on his crotch. When Ted came in, I think he actually ate some whipped cream off of there and got a facefull of crotch. XDD It was awesomeeeee. I wish I could have seen that. So we ate cake and stuff and then I left shortly afterwards. :[ I really didn't want to leave, because they're leaving today, and I could have stayed and left with them, but I have my driving test today. :/ Booooooo.

Lots of crap went down apparently. o_o So much dramaaaaa. This girl that no one likes stayed over for a little bit, and one of the guys had sex with her in the house while everyone was there. >____< And she apparently did other things with him in her car. And another girl in our house was intended to make out with one of the guys, but then the other girl in our house liked him, and so she couldn't and was stolen by someone else. D: So baddd. I also heard stories about people in other houses. This one girl slept with 10 different guys. D: Some guy was fingering a girl in Matt's sleeping bag. D: People really go all out.

But yes, I really enjoyed staying at that house. There were two other
girls and about 15 guys, which was cool [my group of friends consists
of mainly guys, which I like]. Sleeping was fun, because five people
crammed on to my bed. :D I'm glad that we had a dry house, because all
of the other ones with the exception of one drank and stuff. We definitely need to do that again. :]

Friday, June 08, 2007

I'd just like to say that I'm really reluctant to
write this, but I'd like to get it out, without having to unload all of
this on any one particular person.

So it's been two
days now that I've been out of school. For the most part, I like it:
it's rather relaxing, free, etc. However, the impending prospect of
graduation is looming ahead. I have mixed feelings accompanied with
that.

Yes, summer always nicely culminates any
school year. I do enjoy how nice it is to not have work and everything.
Sleeping in is always a good thing. Free time is always
appreciated.

However, what mainly concerns me about
leaving school is leaving people. Of course I'll stay in touch with the
people that I've become good friends with, and I'm sure they'd do the
same. It's the people that I don't know very well that I would like to
have known better. I love all the people I've recently become
acquainted with, and it feels strange just to leave them once I just
started getting to know them and hanging out with them. It's not about
whether I want to keep in touch with them; it's whether they want to
reciprocate the feeling or not.

I'm not quite sure
if any other aspects bother me. I'm not really leaving the security of
an environment that I've known for over a decade; I've already done
that two years ago when I came to Springfield. I'm going to a school in
Philadelphia, so I'll still be in the area (which, now that I come it,
isn't necessarily comforting). I suppose I'll make new friends to cover
for the ones that I'll lose (while I won't want to admit it, it's
inevitable that I'll lose some friends in the
transition).

</rant>

Thursday, June 07, 2007

Ah, all those pieces were for AP Art, which I didn't go through with. Too many other AP classes to deal with, not enough time to do everything, and AP Art was too low on my priority list anyway.

I have been painting a lot recently though. I like that. I can sit for a several hours to finish a painting, which is good, because I couldn't do that before.

Uhh......school's over now. I don't really know what to do with myself now that I've got no work or anything to occupy my time. I'll miss seeing everyone in school too. :[ I regret not taking any pictures the last day and not getting a yearbook sooner [I don't think I got as many people as I wanted to sign it in the DAY that I had it]. I never thought it would happen, but I did grow attached to Springfield, no matter how much I hated it. However, I highly suspect it's due to the people I acquainted myself with; I don't think I'll miss the work very much. I feel so old. Arrrrr.

On a similar note, I didn't have to take any finals. I got all A's in my regular classes and A's/B's in my AP's. Whooooo. The only classes I got A-'s for my final grade were English and Euro, and I'm rather pissed about English. Only two percentage points away in this marking period from getting an A overall. :/

Poop.

Saturday, May 26, 2007

So Thursday was pretty awesome.

First, we had Celebration of the Arts, which was my school's art show thing. The judging was soooooo biased/terrible, as it is every year. It was basically the three favorites who monopolized all the first and second place ribbons. -_- I don't know. A lot of the pieces were deserving, but it seems like the judge(s) went around to their walls first, gave first/second place ribbons to their favorite pieces on those, and then everyone else got the reject ribbons. People were saying how I got ripped off on my share of ribbons. :/ Bothersome. They should have judged the pieces anonymously before they were put up on the walls. This stuff needs to be thought through. >_<

Also, the girl that got best wall didn't deserve it. It had large feathers painted on and then rags draped across the top and sides. Whoo hoo. I'll take pictures next time of the other walls.

I got killed in Assassin after taking out one of the members of my target team. :[

After that was Pirates at midnight! Which was amazing, by the way. Yay. :]

Oh, someone wants to buy one of my pictures. :o My teacher says charge at least $50.

Wednesday, May 23, 2007

Ahhhhh. Really short notice, but my school's art show is this THURSDAY, from 7:30 PM to about 10:30 PM. and I would like for people to come!! It's a huge thing at Springfield; there are about a thousand or so people that pass through the school looking at artwork, watching plays, sampling food, etc. It's great. I went to the one last year, and really wanted to be more involved in this year. :D So I have a big panel for all of my artwork, I have some ceramics stuff out, and I'm giving out food samples in the cafeteria. Everyone should definitely come. :]

I'm really excited for my art wall. It's coming along nicely, and has to be finished tomorrow so that it can be judged. x______x I think I'll win something for my pieces though, which is really good!

Afterwards, Pirates at midnight! I'm super-excited. I can feel now that I will be dead tired.

This week has been so busy, between working on my art wall, English project (2 essays to do), Euro essays (2 done yesterday), Foods stuff (a poster due on Thursday x______x), etc. Everything just gets piled on this week.

Sunday, April 29, 2007

D: I just had to help my dad caulk windows. Worst thing ever. He was half-hanging out of the window, and I had to hold these cords so that he wouldn't fall out. x______x SO bad. We should definitely hire someone to do it for us. This is too much.

I'm excited! :D Two proms two weeks in a row. Should be fun. YuFei's is this week, and mine is next Friday. Yayyyyy. :D

I went prom jewelry shopping yesterday. Omg. I was kind of wandering around aimlessly because I didn't know what color to get for mine. Then my friend called and was like, "TOM IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME." So I demanded that he give the phone to Tom, and I asked him. Yay for taking the initiative. Keep in mind that I NEVER talk to the kid. Needless to say, it was a very awkward conversation. I looked like >_< the whole time.

Tickets go on sale this week. >_> We still have to work that out.

On a not-so-good note, AP tests start next week. :x I have three. How terrible. I'm gonna have to study my ass off between now and then.

I feel like I'm spinning. @_@

Sunday, April 22, 2007

Yayyyyy. Junior prom was really fun! I danced [badly, but I tried]. I'll get it hopefully by May 11th.

I got to see Tom's dancing skills in action as well. XD He listened to what people were telling him to do and stuff, including sandwiching me [my friend took a video of this, which she needs to give me; I'll upload it when I get it]. Ahaha. Except for krumping - my friend Allison was doing it, and Kayt was telling him to imitate her, to which he answered, "No...I think I know my limitations." He'll be a good match for me for senior prom then. XD

After prom, we went to Tom Jones, which was completely full, because there were five proms that day apparently. Then we went to IHOP in Lawrence Park, which was also closed. So we just ended up going to Denny's.

I uploaded pictures to both Photobucket and Facebook. Photobucket if you don't have a Facebook, and Facebook if you want to comment or something.

Pictures here [Photobucket].
And here [Facebook].
