I have no excuse for my absence, except for the fact that other more important things were demanding my time...

*sigh* Vacation time. It's a dreaded thing. A time filled with yelling and family tension. It's this 3 week period in the summer when my dad has off from work, and we engage in all sorts of home improvement projects.

Let me be very clear about something. I hate negative, condescending people. When you are around these people, it literally feels like bad energy just radiates from them. Perhaps you've noticed this? People that suck the goodness and cheer out of anything. People who's voice perpetually have aggravated tone.  My dad, my brothers,  I'm not so subtly referring to you.

Now that I've finished explaining how and why I ended up back in the corner of my bedroom with the door locked and the voices drowned out, let us concentrate on other things.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! My car is almost done. I say almost, because it hasn't had the final labor intensive polishing and buffing yet. BUT, it's still a small red shiny sports car. What's more, it's finally running reliably. Gas milage is half decent, at about 22.

Emily has been gone for 3 weeks and I miss her terribly. She's been the light of my life for these last few months, and it's lonely without her.

I would like to just take notice of the fact that even though I have never met ya'll in real life, your comments are most appreciated. Tearskeepafalling and Jcee_girl, thumbs up

Por nada. I came over here because my Footprints log recorded like nine visits by you in a row, and was pleasantly surprised with a post.

I'm sorry about your family - but your car sounds like its coming along great. I would be way too scared to drive it on a public road, as me driving is a potentially deadly situation, and I am a bit too literal minded of a person to gratify just keeping it in a garage, but it is beautiful! No, I mean justify - not gratify. Sorry.

Who is Emily?

Dude, door locked in house with family yelling, so been there. Know what you mean.

But in other news, I STILL can't believe your car has bad wind resistance. It boggles me...

The light of your life. Your girlfriend???? What a letdown (no offense to the lovely Emily). Geez, you couldn't have said something exciting like "the daughter of a forgotten prince trapped in the twenty first century by an evil stable boy until she brings back the Lost Sapphire which happens to be buried four stories under your living room?" *sigh*

PLEASE DON'T WRECK YOUR BEAUTIFUL CAR GOING TO THE MOVIES TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!

You still have not explained the 23 Footprints.

I just typed "my bed" first because I was thinking about all the nice sleep I was going to catch up on.  You know you're first.  Silly boy.

Okay, I don't know exactly how Footprints works. I went back 5 pages into your archives. How many times did it record my visit?

I thought as much. This is certainly an error on the part of Xanga, and should be dealt with immediately. I wonder why it does that?

Actually, I used Microsoft Draw, a card creator. It has a photo editing section.

mate,

the negativity note.... *knowing nod*....

was good seeing you on the way out. -

as one of the few sources of pure material inspiration, your car, I'm curious what her name is? :)

If I could go back to when I was 7, and could extract a little of the way I'd anticipate waking up the next morning when I'd get to see a good friend, I'd do so, and take a bit of that and apply it to a hope that someday our paths will cross leaving enough time to work on a project together. Yet, If not, I'd like you to know that the interactions we've had and discussions shared are, not unlike a watch my friend had for years when I was a kid. even though I'd of really liked to have seen it on a regular basis, I hardly ever got to see it, but it was always great when I did.

this is your punishment (including several words I didnt even try to figure out how to spell) for not updating....... I shall now commence to expell a few randomly pointless thoughts, which will stand as witness, that thou art in dire need of some sort of update...

*clears throat*.... eh hemmm....

For some reason, I have this strong urge, to go be a coal minor..... I saw this little clipping on yahoo, talking about six people being missing in a collapse.... so, rationally, the pay would already be high, and workers even harder now to come by, so maybe more raises, not having to shave before going to work, less expenses due to the complete lack of needing to use personal hygine products on a normal basis... lol, what's the point? and, think of all the cool ghost stories you could tell to each other on lunch break....down....*cue dark ominous music* and especially if you got a job at that same mine, what's the probability of it caving in twice? I dunno, I'd like to have that job for a few weeks, or months maybe even. anyone with me?

wait, no, I'd rather be the little parrot that they send into the coal mine, to see if there's poisons gas..... I mean, no, I'd rather not, that job had to rank in the all time suckiest jobs ever for parrots.... well, maybe it would tie with being owned by the court jestor... I mean, think about ALL the complexes those little guys must have had, and then, if they had an intelligent parrot, what type of physcological abuse could come from a tweaked out court jester who was no longer even funny, which was, pretty much his ONLY redeaming quality.... well, except maybe a small subsect of highly intelligent parrots, who get purchased by grotesquly obease fat people who have awful personalities, who make the parrots watch old T.V. shows with Rosan Bar.... Reruns of the Anna Nicole show, then learn and quote lines from them.... then they'd make the parrots complament them, and remind the fat people that in not so ancient history it was a sign of being wealthy to be fat and how it was sexy and stuff, and they'd make the parrot eat and eat and eat... I'm not sure if parrots can get obease, but I wouldnt be surprised if somewhere, at some time, some fat person has at least attempted to create a self likeness in their parrot, and if that were the case and I was a parrot, I'd choose the poisions gas detecting job hands, err, claws down.

anyway, Canada spelled backwards is Adanac, which, I'm pretty sure has a secret meaning in some obscure language. and if it doesn't, it should. heh.

That's what you've been doing instead of what you should be doing...

Which is updating! And you've been doing the opposite! Don't make me sick the Angry Prehistoric Sea Monster Crab on you.
