  • Today was a bad day. After $800+ in repairs, my car still doesn't run properly. It's not fun to have to get out in traffic and push your car to the nearest parking lot. Then my crappy cell loses its battery so I couldn't call for help. But at least out of all this shitty luck, I was close to my mom's work. After a few tries with the jumper cables, it started up again but it died on me two more times. I finally left it parked on a street and walked home. So first my phone starts to act up, then my car and now my laptop too. The "a" key fell off and now i have to type carefully. Ugh, this sucks. the only thing that can cheer me up are surreal Argentinian commercials

  • High School Memories

This one time after a debate tournament, The whole team gathered at one of the member’s house. Since there were like 9 of us, the only room we could collaborate without bothering the rest of the household was using the kid's playroom they had. While trying screw around and not get some work done, two of my good friends and I came across a wonderful little artifact within the toy pile in the room. The item was the coolest looking, tiny, fisher-price toy chainsaw that made realistic sound effects when you pressed a button on it that you have ever seen. From what I remember, the toy chainsaw in question belonged to the nephew of the person on the team who let us use her house. We messed around with it, nothing particular, until a certain scene from a certain 1983 movie about a certain Cuban gangster rising to the top of the coke trade in Miami staring Al Pacino came to mind. We asked the people there if anyone had tape, ketchup packs, and a camera phone that could record video and if we could use our host’s shower for a bit. After asking such a strange request, they wanted to know why. We answered honestly and we were flat out refused in all of our requests…to this very day I consider this one of the biggest wasted opportunities of my life.

  • it's kind of funny how people are dying in an armed conflict that could probably screw with oil production and prices yet apparently the dated sexual escapades of John Edwards prove to be more important.

  • this late morning, the earthquake woke me up. Instead of ducking for cover or whatever the hell you're supposed to do, I got off the couch and slowly meandered to the middle or the room, just standing there until it ended. then i had breakfast while everyone else in my building go out of their appartments for fear of their safety...and then I wondered "why am not fat(ter)?" I have the vitality of  a sloth, i  should be 200 pounds. lucky for me I'm tall, otherwise I'ld be a lardass.
