The title says it all, pretty much.
I'm headed back to Princeton to start my sophomore year! Woooooooo, I can't wait!
Sophomore year is said to be the best because:
A) Sophomores are already accustomed to the academic system and where everything is on campus, the social life -- unlike freshmen.
B) Sophomores do not have heavy independent workloads like juniors and seniors do (i.e. juniors have to write a big junior paper and seniors their senior theses).
C) Sophomores usually already have a close-knit circle of friends and as far as social connections go, more partying opportunities are open.
Some drawbacks are that sophomores at Princeton have to choose their majors and if they want to be part of the eating club culture, they have to choose their club and in some cases, bicker (i.e. apply to a competitive club). I should consider myself lucky -- engineering students had to pick their majors freshman year, right from the get go.
There are certainly pros and cons to most situations but overall I feel the pros outweigh the cons here and I'm so psyched!!! I can't wait!
