What is the purpose of this listing and how does it work?
Fanlistings like this are just a way to display your support for a certain subject, which in this case is your love for a certain bishie (or bishies ;]). It's simple-- anyone can apply for a bishie, and if that character isn't listed yet, his name will be put up on the Claimed List with her name beside it.
What is a bishounen/bishie?
As defined by the wonderful Wikipedia, a bishounen is “a specific Japanese aesthetic concept of the ideally beautiful young man”. :]
Why name this site “Fangirl Squeal”?
I decided on this name on a whim, and I think it fits the theme of this site nicely. After all, these two words basically sum up the reaction a typical girl has when she sees a bishie, right?
Why should I take the time and claim a bishie?
Simply put, they're bishies! Assuming you're an otaku or fangirl yourself, haven't you ever wanted a certain character for yourself? This is the opportunity to accomplish just that. x3
Okay, so how exactly do I claim one then?
That's pretty easy; just read the rules below, and then check the Claimed List to make sure your character of choice isn't already taken. If he isn't listed, then by all means request him using the form. :] After that, please *immediately* put up a link to
