| Merry Christmas! I hope everyone has a blessed and wonderful Christms. Don't forget why we really celebrate it. I was thinking about the words from the Children's play this past Sunday, the part where the daughter of the mayor says, "People get so caught up in the shopping and gift giving thing, that they sometimes get confused with the real meaning." And- that's really true. We do get it confused sometimes, but that's when we need to take ourselves out of the scene, and remember that Jesus came to earth, and became a baby- born to a simple girl. She was noone special, yet- God planned for her to take care of His Son. If any of you haven't seen The Nativity in theaters, you really should go and see it. The director put the best Christmas Story that I've yet to see on film. She did an amazing job in putting it together. The whole thing was great. The way that Joseph was portrayed really got you thinking, and the way that Keisha played Mary, was awesome! She really put some effort into thinking how she would have behaved, if she found out that she was going to give birth to a Son, and yet she hadn't been with any man. So... Yeah, you should really take the time to go see it. |
