I was just curious who'd be up at that hour reading blogs!

Hi Readers!

How are you all doing today?  Is it hot enough for ya?  I picked Lydia up from work around 1:30ish and an electric billboard downtown said 100*F!!  That is HOT!!   

I wish we could go  .   

Anyway, all is well here.  Just waiting on a certain somebody to come stay with us.  Our little friend we've been keeping is suppose to be back either this evening or first thing in the morning.  Can't wait to see the little thing.

John-Andrew is back in Sulphur.  He's suppose to be starting at Sherwin-Williams today.  I hope it all works out for him.  I miss him though.

Lydia worked today.  After work, she ordered a baked potato from her own restaurant.  I tasted it and it was really good.

  Destiny is doing an awesome job at being lazy!  She's enjoying her summer big time!

Nathan is playing in his car right now.  He didn't take as long of a nap as I'd liked.  But, he's ready to rip and roar again!

John is working in Moss Bluff today.  It's so hot outside I don't know how he can stand it.

Right around the corner!

Hello Readers!!  It's been quite the day!

Anyway, I just thought I'd remind everybody that school will be starting soon!  School is right around the corner!!  How exciting is THAT!!  Yay!  I hope this school year goes as wonderful as last year did!!

I wanted to remind you that Walmart and the different stores now have school supplies for sale at really great prices!!  Crayola crayons are 25 cents.  Notebooks are 10 cents.  There are all sorts of wonderful bargains!!  If you have students or grandchildren, you might want to stock up on some supplies!!    

Well, I'm sorry this is so late tonight and I haven't posted in a day or two!  I haven't forgotten you at all!!  Just been extra busy with extra activities!

Good Morning Readers! It's a Saturday!

Good Morning Readers!!

Were you expecting a post today - a SATURDAY?!!!  Well, I decided I'd better post or lose my readers!!

We have certainly been extremely busy the past few days.  We took a little girl into our home for the weekend.  She is a sweetheart!!  We're not sure how long she will be able to stay with us.  But she's welcome here as long as is needed or even wanted!

The girls came home from church camp yesterday just bubbling over with all the camp's events.  They had a very good time.  I am so thankful they got to go!!  But OH THE LAUNDRY!!  Plus our new little girl's laundry, plus leaky diaper laundry.  We've kept that washer and dryer going!!  I am so thankful for my washer and dryer!  They are my friends!  

and   

I've enjoyed every second.  Now that the girls are home, they can help with some of the duties and chores around the house.  They're pretty good about helping.  I am thankful for that for sure!!

Anyway, my friend the dryer just stopped.  I'd better go grab its contents before they wrinkle.  I am so thankful for "wash and wear"!!!
