So the trip to Tyrone was pretty sweet. got there midnight-y friday night, chilled, and then slept. saturday was setting up for and then being at arran's party. walked to th amish place for some corn just like 2 years ago, which was fun. Zoot (their dog) chased us there, but that's ok, he's finally stopped barking every time i'm there. got to see tyler, richard, colin, christina, and heather again, and met kilgis (dan), nicco, and various family members, to whom i was "that duct tape guy", but that's ok. slept out in the tent with the Grungefest crew, which was awesome.

next day was clean-up from the party, and hanging out most of the day. more of arran's family came for dinner, and that was rather strange to be attending a family reunion-y thing. ah well. got to hold Freya (a rather large falcon) for the first time, which was pretty awesome.

th next day was hangin out with heather and natalie, including going to altoona to check out what cake Alex is getting for his 2nd birthday party (that i, sadly, cannot attend). then arran came and natalie left, and we watched Hannibal Rising. a great movie, that. following the conclusion of that, we hit the town with a bag full of things to burn. stopped by Shawn's house for a brief and slightly awkward visit, then sat undar a railroad bridge and burned things. partially by my fault, arran caught fire briefly, but not for long or causing permenant harm.

today, hung out and had chinese food, heather got alex and i got to see him for a little while (he's grown like crazy since last time). then lizzie and arran's mom dropped me off at th train station and home i went.

quite possibly the best visit to tyrone yet. longest visit, and very full of people who are quite fun to hang out with. not the most shenanigan-full trip, but it was up there.

it kinda sucks that with everyone there graduating and moving out of town, there's not gonna be any good way to visit all of them... it's a good thing arran, heather, and i made our meet-at-least-once-every-summer agreement, because then we won't just fall out of contact. that would suck.

went on a by-foot quest to the harmerville target, and took a detour thru a junkyard: pretty crazy stuff. then talked to some people in a tattoo shop in verona, and they think they found someone who'll be able to provide ritual branding services in Dormont.

sweet

ok, so since sunday:
went and got arran at th train station ~8:30 PM
chilled out, talked, watched spaceballs, then chilled out (clementines) until sunrise. slept.

monday: SSBM and more chillaxin until ~6 PM. sound test actually has uses, it turns out.
then: the show. started an hour late like last time, but no worries.

Liz's band was pretty cool, one of the best acoustic bands i've heard
the Granola Explosion set was pretty sweet. putting SLF second was the right choice: the crowd loved us from then on.
Landmonster was like he was before, but i liked it more this time.
Bandmonster was amazing. landmonster but not as repetative, but just as intense. hot dogz.
weird paul was awesome, and actually knowing half the songs made the show even better than it was last time, which was CRAZY good.
Moustache required was pretty sweet, JJ's rapping astounded me as usual, and Dru's off-the-wall humour works well in rap.

the only downside was all the people getting trashed outside and not listening to anything. ah well, it happens.

then came back, chillaxed until sunrise again, slept, and took arran to the station.

4 hours of sleep since sunday. lotsa fun.
