  • hm. So cross country morning runs start next Wednesday for anyone who wanted to know and reads this. 6:30 AM at the tennis courts....monday, wednesday, and friday every week after that. Did that make sense? Probably not.

Good News: I am no longer babysitting, so I will be working at the farm again. Dad said that there are all sorts of horses for me to gallop, I just have to gallop them once and see who I can handle. So I will be once again galloping, but more horses than last year. I'm also planning on working with the big horse (Willowbrook) to 'retrain' him to ride western. That should be fun...the old fart has been retired for a few thousand  years now....haha just kidding (it seems that way tho). So yes. A horse-filled summer is now in the cards. Man, I've missed it. Granted, I HAVE galloped this summer already, but now it should be on an almost daily basis. It'll be nice to hang out at the barn with the family again.

I've also been in contact with more of my friends than last summer. I've been getting dragged off to run nights with a few friends, I've been getting to plot and hang out with an AMAZING Jessica Sapp, and I'd better be getting to hang out with the loverly Kayla Bell soon! On top of that, hanging out at the pool with Courtney and Nick, and then finding Nat, Andi, and Kayla all there as well....man, it's been a great summer. Nothing that bad has happened for the most part. And the bad things that have I've almost completely let go of. It's amazing what friends can do to lift up your spirits!

Cross country, horses, and friends. How can this summer get any better?

  • Confusion isn't something I enjoy, but it's something that has come over me lately. I've been confused on so many issues. What to pick, who to pick, when to pick. Finally I just go against all options, and say screw it. I haven't made any solid decisions since school has gotten out. I haven't really made any decisions in my life that I've kept to. Well, one. But I really don't have a say in that matter, therefore it isn't me being influential.

I realize now that I can help people with their lives, but when it comes to mine, i can't make anything happen for me. Sure I could go to the next best guy, or settle for not running at all this summer. But if anyone asks me those questions for them, I'd be like "don't give up on your number one choice. He's worth it.", or "Run this summer so you won't die this fall." I try to motivate others. So why can't I motivate myself?

I got my license. Turned 16 on Sunday. I drove by myself to babysit this morning. Wow. Maybe I really am moving on in life?

  • 19 Ways to Make a Girl Fall in Love

this was sent to me in an e-mail. It reminded me of some good times I had with...well, someone. He might still read this, so I won't say his name.

    1. If you like her, say so.

    2. Hold her hand at any moment . . . even if its just for a second.

    3. Hug her from behind.

    4. When she is upset, hold her tight and tell her how much she means to you.

    5. Recognize the small things... they usually mean the most.

    6. If you're talking to another girl, when you're done talking, walk over and hug her and kiss her... let her know she's yours and they aren't.

    7. Write her notes or call her just to say "hi."

    8. Introduce her to your friends... as your girlfriend. *Thats really sweet*

    9. Play with her hair.

    10. Pick her up (she loves it!!! even when she says to put her down).

    11. Get upset if another guy touches her and she doesn't like it.*(coughcoughcoughCharlieSnowcoughcoughcough)<--Courtney..yeah that one.*

    12. Make her laugh.

    13. Let her fall asleep in your arms. *or just hold her in your arms..either way works*

    14. If she's mad at you, kiss her!

    15. If you care about her, then(we all know this is a challenge) TELL HER.

    16. Treat her the same around your friends as you do when your alone.

    17. Look her in the eyes and smile. *Right before you kiss is really special..I know*

    18. Kiss her just for the heck of it. *yessssss*

    19. Always call her when you say you will, it may not seem like it, but it does hurt her and makes her thinks you don't care so call even if you can only talk for a minute.

    Thought that was cute...

I want that relationship again. Not the same person, but the same kind of relationship.

                                            I love you all! Meghan
