America's Financial Situation

The stats given in this video are shocking to say the least. What's even more insane is how politicians both democrat and republican are talking about increasing the federal government by advocating universal healthcare or more entitlement programs. We can't afford the war and soon we won't be able to afford anything else if we don't dramatically cut back now. Don't be fooled by all of the status quo big government republicans. Ron Paul is the only candidate who has never voted to raise taxes, has pledged to significantly cut back the size of government and has been consistent in his views. Something must be done now and Ron Paul is the only candidate that is even addressing these critical issues.

Update

Well I guess I'm long overdue for an update. This summer I'm taking calc 3 and I got accepted to UT for this fall. I might decide to go to texas state instead though cause it's so much cheaper. Right now I'm recovering from some severe sunburn from camping over the weekend. It was pretty much 48 hours of swimming and frying in the sun but fun anyways. The Republican debate should be interesting tomorrow night. Hopefully logic and reason will prevail instead of scare tactics and stupidity. It's just frustrating how much control the media has over what the majority of Americans know about. Most Americans just don't care enough to look into things for themselves. The media doesnt necessarily have the power to choose how you think but they do to a large extent control what you think about. Most Americans are just too uneducated and ill informed to vote...but they do and thats why our leaders are their perfect reflections. By the way you may be surprised to know that I hope the spurs lose the nba finals this year. They will probably win but their series with the suns was just inexcusable. groin kicks, headbutts etc. Hopefully the cavs will put them in their place. Ron Paul was on the daily show last night with John Stewart...pretty good stuff. And just on eof the many flagrant fouls by the spurs.

MLK

"...a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

I saw this report on cnn about racial tension in California between African Americans and Latinos who are immigrating into predominantly black communities. thought it was kind of interesting.

iPhone

Apple just announced the release of the new iPhone...It runs macOSX so it's basically a small tablet PC with wifi, bluetooth, gps, ipod and phone capabilities and it will be sold through cingular. It uses a new technology called multitouch that I thought looked pretty cool. Here is a video demonstration on a full size monitor.
