We are the new AZW Tag Team Champions!On July 12, 2007, the team of Jet Akuma and myself, Bobby "The Lightning" Bolt, have become the new AZW Tag Team Champions. For those of you who didn't follow, here is the story and the trilogy. Prelude: October 2006: Bobby "The Lightning" Bolt debuts in AZW (Halloween Hangover 2) teaming with Jet Akuma against the Heatseekers. December 2006 (Battleclash 2): The team of Devilshock takes shape as we took on and defeated the Iraqi Regime. (Available on DVD on http://www.actionzonewrestling.com [w/special appearance by Super Hentai & MDogg20) February 2007 (New Year's Bash): DDB & AkuA win the titles when the champions, the Heatseekers, put their titles on the line in a Fatal Fourway Elimination Match against DDB & AkuA, Mark Anarchy & Sabaki, and Devilshock. The trilogy begins: March 2007 (Revenge & Retribution): Being the new AZW Tag Team Champions, the team of DDB & AkuA did not take Devilshock too lightly and stopped training due to their height and size advantage. Devilshock had the champs beat after the champs were nearly defeated with Jet Akuma's "Code Red" and Bobby Bolt's version of the "Shoryuken", followed by a counter by DDB's "One Liner" with Bolt's "Hammer of Thor". The champs were pretty much defeated until AkuA did his "Transplant" (Canadian Destroyer) on Bobby Bolt behind the ref's back, which gave DDB the pin. (Also available on DVD on http://www.actionzonewrestling.com [w/Teddy Hart on the cover]) May 2007 (Reckless Abandon 2): With a 20 minute time limit stipulation on this rematch, the team of DDB & AkuA took Devilshock seriously by actually training for it this time. This time, Bobby "The Lightning" Bolt made DDB tap out with a modified crossface submission, with the ref turned away. The end of the match, showed AkuA getting pinned after a "Shoryuken"/"Code Red" combo, with the time limit expiring just before the three count. July 12, 2007 (Anniversary Annihilation Day 2): With both teams giving it their all for the titles, this match developed with major heat. The ending of the match showed DDB & Bobby Bolt kicking out of each other's finishers & signature moves. After countering DDB with a surprise springboard knee, Bobby Bolt set DDB up with the "Surge" (450 Splash) for the win. A few words from me: To the team of DDB & AkuA: As I said before, Lightning strikes when least expected. Sorry to my family (especially my parents), friends, & fans for letting my anger get the best of me by flipping the bird at someone in your presence.
