Hey guys,

It has truly been a LONG while!! I have been so busy getting things finalized and such and dealing with certain issues that life brings our way, that I've had to sit and rest a spell after such endeavors.

This summer has posed to be a very boring one. This summer was my first one in Hattiesburg and I have to say that If I take summer school again, I hope it wont be like this one. Usually something crazy or outlandish happens at least once every summer and I can attest to that and say that no summer can or will be able to compare to this one. All in one summer I have been able to rid the weeds [bad friends] from my life, meet some outstanding new people, gain a new best friend, feel like my life was going nowhere, get a new apartment, stay in the most DREDFUL dorm known to man, grow closer to my family, and the list goes on. I haven't been able to do much this summer due to some minor unfortunate mishaps along the way, but who's to say that one person such as I can't get over a hurdle and keep on truckin'?? That's exactly what I've been able to do.

I've just recently completed my summer classes of which I recieved some pretty AWESOME grades seeing as that I was majorly focused as I should have been through most of it, but I did it well. I took voice from Dr. Kyle this summer and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME. We've accomplished so many wonderful things and I was able to show all of those things at our studio recital. We have some great new voices coming in and it's always a pleasure to enjoy new voices. This upcoming fall and spring poses as a busy one.

When school starts on the 24th, not only will rehearsals for Godspell start, but I will two major auditions that week as well. One for choir and the other for a new group that we're starting. It's going to be called BRAVO!! It's a new singing/acting/dancing group that is going to be highly intensive with great show captivators and great energy in entertainment. It'll be a blast; I can feel it now.

I was very excited yesterday b/c I participated in a photo shoot, which was SOOO amazing. The photo shoot was to advertise the new group that will be starting. We had some amazing people there to help out. It was AWESOME.

On the up-and-up...I was able to get an apartment ON MY OWN!! I was so excited about that seeing as that most of the time you'd have to have a co-signer, but not me...I was able to do it at the drop of a hat and they got me all worked out. I was and am still excited about that. I'm actually moving my things out of the dorm I've been staying in for some of this summer today. I will be SOOOO happy to finally be rid of this AWFUL place. It has one convenience though. It's so close to the Music building and seeing as I am late for everything, it's been so AWESOME to just walk across the way and go straight to class.

Well...I better get a move on. I have to take some of my things to a friends house and then I'm off to the greater world of TUPELO for a while, where I will be a hermit at least for a week and I will be memorizing GODSPELL and visiting with my family. I have missed them so much. Then it is back to Hattiesburg where I will move into my NEW apartment on the 14th and then I'm going to get settled and such for the school year and start my amazing new job as well....that in the news later... !!

I hope each and everyone of you has an AWESOME rest of the week and weekend. Remember to keep reaching forward and don't let any obstacle seem too complicated to over come. Howdy Guys and Gals,

Well It's been a decade and I am back again with, yet, another post for your enjoyment.

School is out, finally!! This semester flew by oh so quickly. I always feel weird when the end of the school year hits due to the fact that I might not get to see some of the many faces that I see everyday and will have more memories built up of experiences I have incurred. But as I always say, "Keep On Truckin', There's More Along The Way.." My first year at USM wasn't what I had expected, but I do, now, know what I need to do to make it worth my while and I also know what I need to do to make everything much better in every perspective.

It took a total of 12+ hours to move all of my things out of my dorm. It was quite hilarious really. If it weren't for my best friend Chad then I wouldn't have been able to do everything by myself. I was really worried, but everything worked out fine. We packed and moved quite a bit then went to a friends' house and had a little bit of social time, then went back to work and then took a 2 hour nap, then went back to work. I was SO SO pooped. He allowed me to store a few things at his NEW apartment. I was very gracious. He's an AWESOME friend.

I am, now, sitting here in my floor at my gram's. I just took a shower and needed to clear the air and get some things off my chest. Not only has school been such a stress, but along side my personal life was as well. It is really hard to balance more than one thing at a time in my life. I am spread so thin and expect myself to rise above the occasion. Not so true. I often wonder how those clowns in their circus acts are able to balance more than one thing at a time and still keep their joyful expression. I guess it's harder in the sense of what we deal with in life. But I'm doing fine and I'm strong as ever. A personal quote that I keep to my heart daily is, "That Which Does Not Kill Us Makes Us Stronger.." I value that quote every single day. It helps me get through the bad times that I encounter ever so often.

I am going to be home for a good two weeks, hopefully. Then I have decided to partake of the wonderful world of SUMMER SCHOOL!!! FUN FUN. I have to catch up with classes that weren't offered at ICC and the only way by doing this is by taking summer school at the wonderful USM. I will be taking 10 hours. WOOT!! And along side of that I am looking for an apartment. My parents and I have discussed the idea and I just have to be on my "P's and Q's" along the way and be very responsible in order for things to go smoothly. I think I can do it ONLY If I choose to put my mind to it. I hear that matra every single day of my life...It gets to me and usually when I apply it, I actually can do anything.

Auditions were not too long ago for our Fall Musical...GODSPELL!! I sang "Without Love" from HAIRSPRAY and I did a monologue entitled Letters To Grandpa'. With those two AWESOME (I might add) and most entertaining tools for an audition, I was given the role of JESUS!! I was rather suprised, but none-the-less, I was deeply greatful. The show is at the end of September and we start rehearsing right before school starts. I am overly excited and I can't wait!!

Well...I think that is all that I can think of, for now, to update!! I hope this brings some end to curiosity to those who read this and wonder, "Why hasn't the boy updated..." I hope everyone has an AWESOME week and if you are taking finals or such with school and the semester isn't over for ya', I am thinking of ya' and I pray that you do well and everything turns out GREAT!! Howdy GUYS!!!

It's been a freakin' WHOLE month, since I've updated. HERE goes...

West Side Story was a HUGE success. I had the time of my life and many exciting memories to carry with me for the rest of my life. I'm kinda sad it's over though, due to the fact that I was actually having fun with it, but some things must come to an and lemme tell ya...I went out with a BANG!!!

School is giving me this BURNT out feeling...I feel like it's a task to get up every morning and go, but I do it and then I see a different perspective when I go. I just wish that everyday could be as wonderful as most days when I get up with a giggly/bubbly feeling and I can't stop smiling...then I would have an AWESOME school year.

I'm preparing for a competition in Cleveland that's at the beginning of April---NATS!! I'm singing for this one and I can't wait. It's gonna be so exciting and so much fun. Plus I get to spend it with some pretty AWESOME peeps!!

Speaking of AWESOME people...I have been talking to a special someone. Many people have told me that when you stop looking for something that seems so endless when you actually look for it, it'll find you!! Well I can say that I firmly believe in that statement. This person is truly special and when I am with them, I have the time of my life and le'mme tell ya'...time sure does fly by when you're having a LOT of fun. I have only known them for a short while, but the ball is rolling and I am praying each and everyday that things work out for GOD's will and that things work for the better. When I wake up beside them in the morning...I get this wonderful feeling inside and I know it's right. It sounds mushy, but hey...I'm a hopeless romantic...I'm sure some of you can relate!! But I just had to tell you guys!!

Today, I am going to the State Choral Competition/Festival held in Pearl, MS. I used to sing for those when I was in HS, but I am bringing my good ol' friend Chad with me, so that we can hear his sister's choir. I hope it'll be good, b/c I haven't heard a HS choir sing in FOREVER...I'm more used to the college setting and I have long forgotten the soft sounds of HS singing. So please keep us in your thoughts as we venture to good ol' Jackson and our departure back to Hattiesburg.

Well that's pretty much the updates that I have for now, but never fear for I will update again...and no...it wont be two months from now...haha...I promise....[crosses fingers]...jk...Well I hope you all have an AWESOME day and remember that I'm here for ya' if you need me and GOD is AWESOME!!!

Howdy Guys,

Well...so much is happening all at once and I don't know where to start.

This week is production week for West Side Story!!! It's finally drawing near...THE BIG SHOW!!! haha...I'm overwhelmed and excited and jumpy all at once...it's great...I can't wait!!! Wish me luck...the show starts on Thursday and ends on Sunday!! I'm gonna really miss doing all this when it's all over...I can't believe it's here...*gets choked up*

Lately I've been having troubles in my life, but that hasn't gotten me down...NOT AT ALL!!! GOD has giving me strength and I've dealt with everything very well...Sometimes I think I have true friends to only see that I was wrong....I should choose better....Sometimes my goals faulter due to my lack of effort....I try harder...when things go wrong...still keep going through your day like there wasn't a thing wrong with ya'!! That's what I do....and I'm gonna keep doing it...b/c I'm stronger due to it!!!

My mom and family are coming down this weekend...I CAN'T wait...I've missed them like CRAZY!!! My dad is going to look at my car this weekend also...can't wait...It wouldn't start the other night, but I'm not gonna worry about it, b/c everything is going to work out....!!!

I have less than a week and a half to decide whether or not I will be atending the Italy trip at the end of May with my Chamber group...I really wanna go, but funds aren't shaping up at all and I pray that something comes through...It's gonna cost 1700.00 plus possibly 1000.00 for spending money...where is all the money when one needs it, huh?!

Well I need to go get ready...tonight is our last night of Dress Rehearsal before the show....wish me luck and I wanna wish everyone a WONDERFUL week ahead...it's gonna be great and no worries b/c GOD will see you through it!!!!
