Busy, Busy!!

Hey everyone!

Sorry about the lack of up-dates. My life has been so busy lately, it's unbelievable!

This morning I was talking to Mary (the town librarian) and she told me that a library assistant position was available. So I jumped at the chance, because to me a job like that seems seriously cushy!! lol So the job is basically mine, but I'm sending my C.V. in just to keep it "above board"! I'm pretty exited about it. I mean, it's something new! All I have to do is wait to find out when I start so I can go and do my training course, & then I'm all set to get paid for doing basically nothing! lol

For anyone who cares, my Grandad's leg is nearly better now. I'll you something, that man has serious healing powers! They've already removed the cast. Of course he'll always have the bolts they inserted in the leg, but I don't think he really cares as long as he can walk again. He's the type of person who doesnt like to stay inside all day, or at all! lol Anyway, he has his walking sticks to help him for another two weeks of physio and then after that he's flying! lol

I need some serious support right now because there is only one month left until I start my Leaving Cert exams. I'm soooo nervous! I start on the 4th of June and feel so unprepared!

Anyway, I'm going to bed now. Just finished watching Blades of Glory for the 20th time. MY FAVOURITE MOVIE! lol I want Will Ferrell and Jon Heder's little funny babies.

On a lighter note (well more annoying, really! :) ) - I've literally changed my layouts about a million times in the past week or so. I've decided on this one...it's pretty cute, right?!

Music & Letters

I'm really bored today. Waited for an AGE for the postman to come; god I fu**ing hate that man! He just *forgets* your packages in the back of his van.

I'm still waiting on Betty's letter & package, which I cant wait to read. She sent me a Chinese make-up bag, which is so lovely of her. She's such a nice person and I'm really glad we're friends, but it's hard to write letters to someone when your postman doesn't even have the kindness to deliver them! One day, I swear to god, he even wrote on the cover of one of my *important bills* a message for me to come and collect a package. That's what you have those little information slips for, stupid, so you can write it on them; not on my important letters! Lol Now, I'm glad I had that rant...:D

Anyway, I'm going through my wardrobe at the moment, trying to figure out what to keep & what to throw out. Seemingly I never wear half of my clothes because I have so much, although I could swear I do...I have a collection of Handbags & Jewellery, which I adore, so they're definitely staying! I really hate throwing things out...lol

Also, I downloaded a ton more of music; loads of Indie stuff that I've been searching for. The song above is called Lucky by Bif Naked. It's a song from Buffy. You should give it a listen - It's great!!! I always loved all the songs from Buffy; It's where I fell in love with Cibo Matto! I also love all sorts of old music, like Edith Piaf & 40's stuff...

I'm in a really, really good mood today!!! Everything seems to be coming up Gaby! :D

I bought a Marilyn-esq wig just to see what blonde hair would really look like on me. Turns out it's gorgeous! Which is strange, because I have a slightly darker colouring(people sometimes think I'm an Italian mix). But it looks amazing, so I'm definitely interested in getting it dyed for real!

Something that's pissing me off big time: 'Va-jay-jay'....what the f**k is that? It's called Vagina people, we're not four! And even at that age, I wouldn't have my child calling it 'Va-jay-jay...come on, what's wrong with saying Vagina? I don't get it....Strange people...

I'm really happy this morning!

Mam, (who is also called Kate! lmao) passed her driving test (she didn't get it renewed when she should have, what with work & all, so she had to redo it). She passed with flying colours, so I'm so proud of her!! I went with her to get the paperwork done about an hour and a half ago. When we were leaving the office, I did the "you've officially been pimped" thing. Lmao. So we had a good laugh about it!

I got Kate's (the other one) IPOD working last night. She came over to collect at about 8:00 - I know, it was so early. lol Her excuse was, she was walking her dog Prada (Such a name-blame her mother. lol) and just happened to pass by. Okay, this would work if she didn't have to drive to get to my house in the first place. LMAO She's a total fool! Oh well, I love her! Mam called me at 7:30 anyway. She was really happy that Hillary Clinton was back in the white house race (you'd swear I was an American, lol). I really hope she gets in! If not, she can always come over here & be our president. We only have Mary Mcaleese & Bertie Ahern- total pair of retards. LMAO

IPOD Hell

Okay, so Kate's just got a new IPOD Shuffle & wants me to upload music onto it for her. Her face was hilarious as she was handing it to me - 'completely disappointed and thought it would be cooler', sort of thing. I'm like "Why the hell didn't you get the bigger one with the screen, so?!" But of course, it's like talking to a wall! lol

Personally, I could run away with it, it's so darling! Like a little toy MP3 player for Polly Pocket! lol But talk about fidgety! It's so small, that it fell down my bra as I was reading the manual, and I didn't even realize it - until Kate burst out laughing. lmao At least she got *some* enjoyment from it! :D

So anyway, I'm trying to get songs on it. Lets just say, iTunes is not my friend...Kate's looking for some new mp3's, (even though I have like a billion songs on my laptop that some people might be envious of) so she's trawling through MP3Sale (my personal fave) looking through the charts. "USA chart is crap...nothing there. UK one much better...no wait, Europe one much better...I'm bored, going for a nap" That sort of thing. lmao. I have to say, even though she's a tool, she's one of the best friends you could ever have. It's like an episode of Father Ted whenever she's around. LOL

{So if anyone has suggestions for Songs, please, do tell!!}

Right now I'm trying to get this thing working, with my patience wearing thin!!! I've just told her that when I'm finished, I'm going to f**k it at her! lol. She's laughing now. That's Irish humor for ya!

Everyone here please sign this petition!

Kevin Davies was murdered in Gloucestershire, England, in 2006.

His killers, Amanda Baggus, 26, and David Lehane, 35, got a measly ten year sentence while they're accomplice, Scott Andrew, 26, got an even worse sentence of nice years for false imprisonment and assault.

Kevin was kept prisoner in a garden shed for four months, beaten every day, starved, and forced to eat potato peelings! Yet they are not being charged with first degree murder. So someone started this petition to force a re-trial and get these pieces of scum life in prison, or maybe worse.

This absolutely makes me sick. To think that you can do this to someone, and get this low of a sentence!!!

Family Emergencies

Last week was just terrible! My Grandad had a bit of an accident and broke his leg. It doesn't sound too bad, but he is in his 70's! (well, he is incredibly fit for his age)

He was ~~walking~~ running down the hill at the back of his house and sort of fell (the weather was tsunami-ish, which didn't help either!) with his leg behind him - if you know what I mean?! The whole bone snapped. The most traumatising thing about the story, is that my grandmother all of a sudden got a urge to look out the back window, where she saw him grabbing and clawing at the hill. She thought "what the f**k is he at?", and ran down to him. Turns out he had crawled the whole way up the hill, dragging his leg with him, trying to get help. She had to drag him into the house and call for an ambulance. That's the one thing that makes the story quite funny though; no-one can get over how this tiny woman dragged such a big guy the whole way into the house. That's tough old people for ya!!

So, he's had an operation to have pins inserted into his leg, and is being released later on today.

Having the same astrological moon as me, he worries like a trooper. He had nothing to drink the first few hours in hospital, so had no need for the loo - his reasoning was that his kidney's must have failed!!! Lmao. So that's where I got my worrying from?!!

Also, everyone leave a good-luck message. The more luck, the better. :)

Due to the whole FireFox evil, I decided to use another layout.

Love this one!!!! The reason I used it is because I've been told Scarlett and I are almost identical with our facial features, except I have black hair not blonde and my eyes are emerald green (but they do change colour, which is fascinating to watch lol). I don't see the resemblance, but everyone else seems to: it makes one very big-headed!! ;P

Anyway, I'm going to do some modelling work near Christmas and I'm thinking about dying my hair blonde, a real little Marilyn-Esq do. I've been fantasising about this for years almost. My room is like a shrine to Marilyn, everywhere you turn, she's there. LOL I'll have to remember to post some pics of it up here.

This morning I was looking through my emails, sorting things out, and it hit me how sad I feel that I no longer speak to Roxy. She was a girl I met on Xanga ages ago and we had a bit of a falling out over god knows what, and I kinda do miss her a little. She was very sweet! It's sad when that happens I think...:(

God, i haven't updated this thing in AGGGGEEESSS! I actually forgot all about having a Xanga account!! I got a new layout, and I absolutely love it. So Japanese-y!!

Loads happened in the past year, I moved House & Town lol. The new house is gorgeous!! My bedrooms so big it's like a dance studio, and it's actually starting to freak me out at night. It's a brand new house so it's not haunted, but it just feels like there's something *there*, if you know what I mean?!

In my last house, (which we like to call the "Damien House", (- it's pretty obvious why! lol) at night, it always felt like someone or something was sitting on my leg, all night! It used to be more irritating than freaky. Cause once you get past the initial "Oh Jesus Christ, there's a ghost in my room!", you start thinking, "When are they going to F**k off so I can get my leg back and sleep?!!" So then I started thinking, "Maybe they followed me to the new house"? Which set off another bout of panic! Kate seems to think it's my guardian angel cutting off circulation to my leg so she can watch over me at night - which is so sweet and I hope to Christ it is!! LOL!! But enough of that for now, will write more about it later!

Also, I'm sitting my leaving cert exam in June, and I'm absolutely pi**ing myself, lol. of course, being the "moon in Aquarius" that I an, I like to work myself up into a state of sheer panic until I feel like I'm gonna pass out- literally, LOL!! :( (I'M a total hypochondriac, as well!) Some encouragement would be nice, people.

Just been informed by Krissierae08 that my new layout looks sh***y in FireFox! Sorry bout that. I am so annoyed cause I really love this layout.

My best advice: use Windows. LOL
