Well its time for another useless update on this out'a date xanga. Well just incase there is anybody out there reading this I wanted to remind you that the ice cream fight will be two wednesdays from now (wednesday the 23rd). Also dont forget that the workproject for 1st indian church will be on Sat. the 26th. I hope you guys all had fun at the we-we in the pool. Ill put some pics below for all to enjoy. Next month we will get into a sermon series all about sin. It's gonna be a fun and informative journey through the topic. Important update!

uuuhhhhh..... This is your captain speaking... uuhhhh....

     No, but seriously, I hope you guys had a great time at the first night of Arrivals & Departures. Dont forget that the most important arrival in our lives is Jesus so make room! Dont forget that next week is camp so there will be no normal wednesday night service. For all you Hombres and Chicas out there that are going to camp- we will meet on monday morning at 7:15. Be there or be left:) For all of you staying behind. We will truly miss you and try not to have to much fun in honor of all you party poopers. The wednesday after next will be night two of arrivals and departures and will be even cooler than the first night. Well thats enough for now. Peace out.

I had a blast playing paintball the other day and I have the bruises to prove it! Let me know if you would like to have another paintball event like that one. Also don't forget to bring friends next week! The person who brings the most new people get to go out for ice-cream the following Wednesday night. If you want to go to camp but forgot to turn in your froms last week... thats ok. You can still bring me the forms but there is a $10 late charge added to your total cost of camp. Dont forget that this comming Wednesday night is the first night of Arrivals and Departures so please keep the isles clear and all trays in their upright and locked position.

The next sermon series will be called Arrivals and Departures. It will be about making room in our lives for Jesus to arrive which sometimes means departing from certain parts of our lives. There will also be a themed event the last Wed. Night of the series.

long time, no Blog

Dear Focus Students and Parents of,

      It has been a long time since I last updated but I have good news! My life has just slowed down abit due to my recent graduation. Due to this change of pace I am hoping to update this blog more often. I hope that it will once again be a usefull tool keeping all up-to-date on Focus stuff. Right now we are a little over half way through our "Island" sermon series that Rob has been leading us through. Rob is doing a great job so when you see him be sure and let him know how cool he is. The next sermon series is TBA but well let you know in the next week or so. We have been planing a paintball trip for a while now and im sure some of you have given up on us actually putting one together, but beliveve it or not we have finalized plans. We have a whole paintball place to ourselves on Tuesday the 30th at 2 p.m. The cost will be $25 per person and will include the gun and 300 rounds of paintballs. More details will be given during the Wed. night service. Also I have camp forms now so we will start distributing them soon. The cost is $200 and includes so much more than it did last year. This year everyone gets to do water front activities for free. It also includes tickets to big surf. On top of all that fun there will also be loads of other free activities to choose from throughout every day of camp. It is going to be a blast this year. I would like some feed back on some issues too. The issues are Youth Band, Bible-Study, and Hang-Out-Nights. Now that Tim is gone we need to put together a band for worship. Anybody interested is invited to be a part just let me know if you want in on the band. We also need to set up a practice time for everyone who wants to participate. Im thinking Sunday evenings, but ultimately its up to you guys. The next thing is a new bible study. I would like to do a bible study over the book of Job. It'll be an off night off campus kind of thing. If your interested let me know. I'm open to suggestions for the bible study. The last issue is hang out nights. Last summer we had Hardcore Haven. Do we want this kind of thing again or should we go in a new direction. This year we are hoping to have a night that is less specicfic in nature and is FREE. I need some ideas on set-up, theme, and night. I want all of us to grow spiritually, Grow together, and have as much fun as possible this summer. To do this I need everyones input. Thanks.
