| Well, this will probably be the last time I post for a while seeing as how I am leaving for Oxford in approximately 4 hours! This week will be filled with unpacking, room arranging, and the lovely honors retreat to which I am looking so forward to... I thought about making this one of those sentimental posts that looks back on all of the memories of highscool and blah blah blah, but no. I still have like soo much to pack and I don't have time for that garbage ha. Anyway, I'll miss all of you back in Hattiesburg, and for those of you in Oxford...see you soon!! | | |
| Ok so my apologies for the like 2 weeks with no update. Anyway..not much has happened. Just getitng ready for the move up to God's Country.
We finally got our carpet and I went and picked it up today...not thinking that it might be hard to fit a 10x12 rug into the Accord, and definately not thinking that I would have to carry this 10x12 atleast 200 lb. rug all the way up to the playroom.
HA so we finally suqeeze it into the car, well the hard part was yet to come. I got home and I figured that since the fellow at Anderson's just threw it over his shoulder and carried it around that I should be able to do the same...wrong. Well I tried that, then I tried putting it around both my shoulders, then i tried it on top of my head and me tip toeing around..but it was still dragging the ground on both sides.
So I made like an ox and got in the middle of the V that the carpet made when it was folded, wrapped my arms around each side of the V and carried it up the steps, down the hall and finally into the play room. Well now my back is like dying and I have carpet burn on the inside of both of my arms. What fun.
This is our carpet:

Too bad the dorm isn't that big...
Ok so... I think that all of you should do this. A friend referred me to this site that pays you to surf their sponsors sites. Yeah, I know, it sounds hokey right. Well it's really not. If you have Paypal the money goes straight to that, or they'll send you a check each month. Now grantid, its probably only like a 50 dollar check each month, but still...thats a lot more than you were making right?? A little tip if you do decide to sign up...just open the browser they tell you to while "surfing" their sponsors sites, then minimize it and carry on. Then wala, free money. Here's the site: http://www.surfjunky.com/?r=HottyToddy5110 Yeah, it put my "referral" site because I want to make some more cash..the more people you refer, the more you make. So get crackin and make some cash for you and me :) | | |

*Edit*
Did you know that you can now order pizza ONLINE! From the Domino's website!! How amazing is that. I feel as though the pizza industry has caught up with the 21st century! That explains half of the obesity in America. As a side not, while we are on pizza - did you know it takes over 48 hours to digest. Mmmm, don't all run to order one at once.
