Things to keep in mind

- Atlantis is very cool. Thank you, Plato, for putting so much grist in the mill of insanity. I've found people seriously proposing that the Atlanteans had giant metal airships, which they flew with their psychic energy. Right

- The opening chord of I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For is a revelation. One of those little musical moments that make life so worthwhile. The fourteen-second mark, people. Go listen to it.

- What, you don't have a copy of the Joshua Tree. Good. Then you have no excuse to not buy the remaster when it comes out November 20. I'm thinking three-disc deluxe edition, myself. But that's me.

- When Denzel Washington ceases to have an expression on his face, be afraid. Be very afraid.

- Big, wide, 1972-type spread collars are sweet.

- On a Friday night, it's absurd to get home at 12.30 and find everyone already in bed.

- Twenty-three hours of the day I find the concept of getting up at six and generally starting the day right is very appealling to me. The hour when it is not is between 6 and 7 am.

It's true! I've seen it!

"War is God's way of teaching Americans geography." - Ambrose Bierce

Also, Jimmy Eat World is amazing. Pure catharsis.

Love is big, it's bigger than us, but love is not what you're thinking of

Please is one of U2's absolute best songs that noone has heard of. Which is a shame. Watch it and appreciate what Bono can write when he's not drowning in sentimentality.

Good grief...

I can't believe I actually did this...

You scored as Captain Wentworth, Captain Wentworth from Persuasion is summed up in one word: noble. He's a gentleman, brave, and independent, but he is also willing to set pride aside to try again for the heart of the woman he loves.
