Things to keep in mind

- Atlantis is very cool. Thank you, Plato, for putting so much grist in the mill of insanity. I've found people seriously proposing that the Atlanteans had giant metal airships, which they flew with their psychic energy. Right

- The opening chord of I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For is a revelation. One of those little musical moments that make life so worthwhile. The fourteen-second mark, people. Go listen to it.

- What, you don't have a copy of the Joshua Tree. Good. Then you have no excuse to not buy the remaster when it comes out November 20. I'm thinking three-disc deluxe edition, myself. But that's me.

- When Denzel Washington ceases to have an expression on his face, be afraid. Be very afraid.

- Big, wide, 1972-type spread collars are sweet.

- On a Friday night, it's absurd to get home at 12.30 and find everyone already in bed.

- Twenty-three hours of the day I find the concept of getting up at six and generally starting the day right is very appealling to me. The hour when it is not is between 6 and 7 am.

-Atlantis moved South & became Antarctica. I once saw a "Scientist" at the Yew-Dub give an elaborate and very well "Documented" presentation "Proving" it.

-What? And abandon my venerable First Edition, plus the several "CD Singles" that were issued between it and Rattle & Hum? We'll see...

-Between 6 and 7 am? I've usually been up & working too long by then to care much one way or the other by that hour...

[That was supposed to be, "...one way or the other about that hour...]

I guess I know what you're reading this week, what you're listening to, what you want for Christmas,  what movie you probably went to and when you went.

We didn't think those collars were sweet in 1972.  Not all of us anyway. The movie again or is that one more style that's back and I  haven't noticed yet. Although I did notice the collar on a shirt I just bought Dad was bigger, but not that big.

I hope you do it anyway - it feels good once you have.  I'm always amazed how much more can be accomplished.  Just as Mike.
