| I too want this quilt!!!!!!
The Old Red Barn Co. She's doing a quilt giveaway of the most beautiful quilt. I want the quilt to decorate the house I hope to one day have. It's such a beautiful quilt that I would probably design a whole room around it! I need this quilt, I grew up in the south and am living in Northern Illinois for crying out loud! IT'S COLD!
I love this quilt:
If you don't want it, you can enter to win it for me!

| NAOMI You would think baby proofing a small apartment would be easy...
Naomi is crawling, full fledged crawling. She will go anywhere she can if we aren't constantly watching.
She is seeming more and more like a toddler and less like a baby every day.
She is going to be a talker.
She is growing up too fast. I have to remind myself to hold onto the present and not hurry the next stage.
VISITS We just made our yearly trip to visit all the family. My dad finally got to meet little Naomi. Everything went well. Being in temporary homes did wear on all of us. Naps were harder and she was just a little fussier. But all in all it was a good needed vacation and family visit.
Ben and I are doing great. We were really ready to see each other again. I stayed in NC about a week longer then him and it was a bit too long for me. I was ready to be back a few days before I was.
I feel like I am going through the mission trip culture shock. It's really strange, but being home with my family is really that different then living here in DeKalb. Not to mention Bethany was home. I had constant companions and now I am all alone at home again.
It will take a little time to get adjusted to life back here again, just a day or two.
FUTURE We are probably moving to Northern KY in August, so packing will start soon. More on that to come...

| Naomi likes to suck on her fingers and sleep. Lately that is all she wants to do. I'll put her on her play mat and she plays for 3 mins and then just turns to the side with her I love you fingers in her mouth and sucks herself to sleep.
Silly girl.

| I don't know what to say about the recent tragedy at Ben's campus. It all just seems like it happened somewhere else like all the other tragedies that have happened at various schools. I just know that somehow God is going to use this for good. Hopefully we can be part of the good that God is going to do. I know that our church is going to have a lot of people searching this Sunday and possibly for a few weeks. Please pray for us and that we will speak truth in love.
Praise God that our family was protected and all those we know were also.
