My Baby!

The age old fight begins. The time when husbands and wifes freely decided whether or not their children are actually theirs or their spouse's depending on how they are behaving at the time. We can call this chapter 3 in the battle for kate and me.
Little Elijah Ray Adams decided to finally bless us with his presence Wednesday afternoon. About 5 minutes after noon to be precise (Central Time Zone). though my little Eli (thats what I call him to drive kate crazy) is not so little. He weighed 10 lbs 3 oz. and was nearly 2 feet tall. I feel small in his presence . He is doing awesome, I love every minute I get with him.
Well, since Kate's parents already stole some of her thunder by updating about baby Lijah first, I will steal a bit more of her thunder and post some pics her dad took for her today. By the time she gets around to updating, all her thunder will be gone and she will have been down graded to only a light drizzle. But, I am sure she will share things with you that I will never mention. Just wait and find out.
Enjoy the pics. Love you all!

Pretty good looking baby for 3 days old if I say so myself!

Validation!

"With Validation Comes Celebration"

This was the topic of my sermon for the Sonrise/celebration service this morning. I spoke about how we as Christians have reason to celebrate the resurrection of Christ because that was the validation of God's plan of Salvation. Pastor Tenney preached the second service today and he spoke about how Jesus holds the keys to death and hades. Jesus conquered death and brings us life! Today was an awesome day. God is good, all the time! After a busy morning worshiping and fellowshipping with the church family, we got to spend the afternoon/evening relaxing and spending time with the family. It would have been better to be near some of my side of the family because I miss them so. I know it will be okay, Grandma Go and my parents are coming soon.

Here is another GodTube.com video for ya!
*Disclaimer: I recommend you let video load all the way to avoid choppy footage!

It's About Time To Laugh The Baby Out!

Hey Ya'll

It has been awhile since I last updated. Hopefully I remember how it is done. There is a lot of stuff going on here in my world which kate so wonderfully keeps you all updated on. So, I only have to touch on a few things.

First of all, my family (mom, dad and grandma go) are coming out to visit and see the baby in April. We are so excited, it has been over a year since we saw them last.

Martial Arts is going great! I am now a yellow belt. It is just awesome and a good experience for me. God is really doing many awesome things out here within the church and the youth and martial arts is just one of the avenues he is using to reach his people.

I will be preaching the sunrise service this Sunday, hopefully, depending on when the baby shows up. I have preached a lot and it is awesome to be working in the ministry God has called me to and being able to share his word with so many people. Please keep kate and I in your prayers as we continue to walk on the path God has for us in the ministry.

Finally, in searching for cool music and videos to share with the youth, I came across a website called "God Tube". This is a Christian alternative to "you tube". As I have been watching videos and stuff there are a lot of funny ones and so I try to share them with kate as much as possible. The funny thing is, because of her being so late in pregnancy and where the baby is located and stretching pains, she can't bear to laugh because it hurts so much. So, I figure if I can make her laugh enough it may just allow the baby to be "laughed" right out of her (I know, somethings are better left as theories). Searching God tube, I found a video that she couldn't stop laughing at so I figured I would share it with you all. Enjoy!

Youth Retreat 2007

Hey Everyone,

Just got back from Faith, Fellowship and Friends Retreat 2007. It was an awesome time with God doing many groovy things in the lives of the youth in our group. The retreat was held at Cedar Springs Wesleyan Camp, it is a beautiful place to be especially in October. We Had 27 people with us in our group consisting of 16 youth, 6 adults and 5 children. It was a happening time. Our focus was on our friends and building new friendships an most Importantly whether or not we are a friend of God. We had 4 youth come along with us that were friends of people in our group. The weekend was dun filled and exciting. We played flag-football, miniture golf, paint ball and other fun stuff. Hopefully Kate will have pictures posted soon.

I think I will stop writing now and resume another day. I am not as young as I used to be and am feeling tired.

Later Everyone!
