The Latest from the James familyHi there to all of our supporters, friends, family and all the rest whom we left down there in the "other world". We sure miss everyone and hope that your Christmas was as meaningfull as ours. We can't say thank you enough and it does not seem good enough to just say it. Thank you for your blessings and gifts. We really needed the warm clothes and the extras. It sure has made life easier. Hey... that reminds me of my favorite employer back home. Please buy your gas and fuel and quick-stop items from Spinx. But easy life it IS NOT. Everything here is in the constant state of breaking. You look at it... it breaks. If you look at the thing that's next to the thing that you are looking at then that thing breaks. It's a hoot. (not) But we try not to let that get us down. The Lord does see us through. I have some pictures of life here that I want to share with you.
First, check out the going to cut down a Christmas tree. The kids thought that was great. We made a thing of it.

The kids just rode along in the -15 degree winter and loved it. They would not let me cut down the one I really wanted.

Oh well, We just went for a regular size one. Things are bigger here though.

Amber even stood on a chair and put the Angel up first as she does every year.
She made cookies and we ate em.

We had some friends over and had a Christmas dinner. It was good to be with believers on the Lords special day. The kids loved their presents and it seem to brighten their spirits up.

It was, however, a cold and silent night.

Here is just a few pictures of around the house that we live in. It's just been cold and we are trying to get used to it. Cutting fire wood is a real treat. This will be done in the warmer months this year. No more -20 log splitting for me.

God is really working us out with our faith. It was hard to leave and it is hard to continue but we see what God is doing here and we see and feel the spritual battle in the souls of man. Just this week there were 4 deaths in the area. All suicide and alcohol related. One man shot and killed himself less that 2 miles from our house in the middle of the road. Tragedy after tragedy. I could tell you many stories of things just like this that have happened just since the new year. The lost-ness here is just heart breaking. Young folks with no hope, yet we see hope all around if people would just believe. Please continue to pray for what we are doing here. The radio is going out for the first time this winter into regions of darkness and is having effect. We are getting neat reports from the north slope region and other areas that are so uplifting that we just know Gods will is being accomplished. It does come with a price and many are paying dearly.

We had lots of wind today and these few pictures here of the kids were today. I had to run the radio station today as another couple has left the ministry. The burden continues to rise and not be equally met. I had to take the kids out and let them romp in the wind and snow. We did some sleding but the wind was so bad we had to leave early.

Work at the airfield on the plane. That's always fun in sub-zero temps. A hangar would be a good thing.

Please email us or write or call and let us know how things are back there with you. What is God doing in your life. We really love to know. It keeps us connected to you. You can email jamesfamily@vfcm.org
We thank God for you and and thank you for you helping to reach the lost and dying world with hope. Eternity is affected. The Kingdom work is being done.
God bless you all. In His work-
