It's been a while and so much has happened.

Emma came into our lives in September.  It's been quite busy leading up to and since then.  Everyone's doing well and being that Emma is the first grandchild on both sides of our family, needless to say, she has and will be spoiled.  It's a great joy to have her with us.  So far, I've noticed that she has a stronger set of lungs than I do and she has a nice taekwondo kick.  But like her dad, she has a strong appetite, a long and loud burp and a fascination toward the TV.

Between work, studies at ATS and now Emma, there hasn't been much time for anything else.  I did manage to squeeze in "Lego Star Wars: The Original Trilogy" during some brief down time and I've been trying to stay on top of my favorite shows like "The Office" and "Battlestar Galactica".  There's a lot of buzz around "Heroes" and I agree that it is one of the best new shows to come out this season.  I'm trying to time Emma's feedings and sleep schedule around these shows.  It's worked somewhat but only because she is still so little.  Once she's older, there may be nothing else on our TV other than "Dora the Explorer".

Life is and will be very different but now I can't imagine life without Emma.

- "Is It Any Wonder?"

So my wife left me...

well for the Memorial Day weekend.  It actually got so boring that I decided to put some miles on the Mini and drive to all the places in Queens that I grew up hanging around at...

- Jackson Heights - the first place we lived in when we immigrated from HK

- Woodside - where I spent my much of my primary school days

- Astoria Park - where I biked to after school with my sixth grade friends

- Elmhurst - I used to bike to Queens Center after school and on the weekends without  my parents knowledge (until I told them a couple of years ago)

- Bayside - where I would spend some of my summers with family friends

- Kew Gardens/Fresh Meadows - where I lived and went to HS

- Jamaica - I have no idea why I was brave enough to drive there...I think that my mind drifted at that point

- Forest Hills - where Connie and I live now

It was literally a trip down memory lane...except that it was Queens Blvd.

Ipod owners, have you seen this?

It almost makes me want to go out and exercise.
