Fellowship So Deep...

Fellowship So Deep - Caedmon's Call
For the love that knows no ending
And the wisdom of God's plan
For the life that was descending
To revive the heart of man
Christ, the Lamb, was made to suffer
And to die upon a tree
So that we, sisters and brothers
Could know His fellowship so deep

Let us sing of our Redeemer
And of His love that made us free
And know this gift is ours forever
Fellowship so deep
Fellowship so deep

We can feel His love among us
And we can sing redemption song
We can hear the Spirit call us
To a place where we belong
For His joy is in our laughter
And His comfort in our grief
Let His love here and everafter
Be the language that we speak!

Let us sing of our Redeemer
And of His love that made us free
And know this gift is ours forever
Fellowship so deep
Fellowship so deep

Hallelujah, Hallelujah to the Lamb
Hallelujah to the Lamb

You are dearly loved...

Dearly Loved - Jimmy Needham

Please lay down your arrows
Because they're sure to pierce the skin
And water from a broken well
Will make you thirst again
And all things you've acquired
Are tested by the flames
And you can see them melting
Then will you call His name?

It's worth it, brothers
It's worth it, friends
To know your Maker
To lose your sin
Do you know that you are
Dearly Loved?

To the slaughter you are being led
Being told that it's a party
That this God is in your head
And every single lie sounds just like the greatest truth
But the One Truth you're not hearing
Is that He died for you!

It's worth it, brothers
It's worth it, friends
To know your Maker
To lose your sin
Do you know that you are
Dearly Loved?

No greater joy
No greater peace
No great love than this...
No greater joy
No greater peace
No greater Love!

The love of Christ is something that is beyond my comprehension, beyond anything I could ever imagine. I will never deserve it or understand it. So often I put my trust in so many other things in this world that are fleeting... while Jesus is right there, just waiting for me to come back to my senses and to see Him.. to truly see Him! The world has so many lies to offer and it disguises these lies as the greatest truth there could ever be. There are so many led astray by these lies... and yet I have the answer, I have this incredible Hope already inside of me. This Hope of Jesus Christ, coming to this earth to die for miserble me.

It's about time I started living this Hope out....

worried...

Hey guys,

I was over at Zack's house tonight and he started having really bad chest pains, twice within an hour or so. His mom came home right after the second one and I explained to her what was going on. He's been so stressed out with school, and maybe that's part of it. But I am soo scared. Over the past couple of months, he's also been throwing up a LOT. Some weeks, every morning. His mom's going to get him into a dr. tomorrow. His dad also has lots of problems with high blood pressure/cholesterol, and maybe it's just nothing big at all. I'm just so scared that it's something serious. Please God, help us through this.

 Please pray...

I know I haven't updated in some time, I just can't seem to find the time and/or have anything interesting to say. I can't believe it, the semester is almost over. Only 2 weeks left and 2 days of finals and I am home free for a month. God has been so so good this semester, and the past few months have actually flown by. Scary thing is realizing you only have 2 weeks left to get about 100 projects finished. :o) Everything will work out perfectly though, they always do. I have beginning to have to start thinking about decisions such as where to do my student teaching in the fall, etc, which is a scary thing. Please pray for me in this area... that I will follow God's lead to the school he wants me to be at, the exactly classroom he wants me to be in.
Time to go do some homework before a day of pigging out on turkey. :o) Hope everyone has a blessed day.

The Lord is our Warrior

The Lord is our Warrior. . .

The Lord is fighting for us . . . we cannot sit idly by while the battle is being raged all around us. . . we must be prepared. We must fight. We cannot sit in the middle. We must stand firm and stand for Christ. Though the world may hate us, our God is for us! We do not need to cower in fear because God, our mighty King, has already won the battle. He has been and continues to be victorious!

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. -2 Corinthians 10:5

Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. -Ephesians 6:11

Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. -Exodus 14:13-14

In heavenly armor we'll enter the land
The battle belongs to the Lord
No weapon that's fashioned against us shall stand
The battle belongs to the Lord

The power of darkness comes in like a flood
The battle belongs to the Lord
He's raised up a standard, the power of His blood
The battle belongs to the Lord

When your enemy presses in hard, do not fear
The battle belongs to the Lord
Take courage my friend, your redemption is near
The battle belongs to the Lord

We sing glory, honor
Power and strength to the Lord
We sing glory, honor
Power and strength to the Lord

Why do we fight?
For we serve a Great King!
