starting round two for camp. I think that its going to be a great week and I have some great expectations in what God is going to do in my life along with the lives of the senior high group that is here for the rest of the week. God has been working on me hardcore for the past week and i'm so thankful for that. I love God and I love Jesus...no matter what, he's got the best i mind for me. Sometimes His will is really hard to follow but you just gotta look at the big picture. Who knows whats going to happen, except for Him.
For me, I'm just going to keep on trusting and putting my faith in Him. No one can sustain me or fill me with joy like He can.
Just need to keep the faith, keep in prayer & keep in His Word. The most comfort that I find is in his Word. Even the times when I don't want to read it..the second I begin..my heart just opens up and is ready to receive what it is that He has for me...
Going to be heading up to camp today at 2. Can't wait for that, should be a good time with all the kids. I'm hoping to develop the relationships that I have with the junior high kids more. I'm looking forward to what God is going to do in their lives and in my life. They have wi-fi there so i'll write about it, etc.
Having a good day so far. Told E happy birtday, exchanged some txts...so that was nice. Its always nice to chat with her, even if its for a little bit. Cleaned up my room and some of my basement. Getting ready to head up to peabody, MA for my buddy sam's surprise b-day party at OutBack Steakhouse..should be a good evening. I miss the kid. Its between him and one other friend that i'd pick to be the best man at my wedding, whenever that happens. He's been a great friend to me through and through. Its a nice sunny day, got the civic all cleaned out. I'm looking foward to the lil "road trip" out there today. I miss driving long trips. iPod is all set with the tunes and everything.
News on Gordon - i'm not giving up despite the negativeness from my mom. I"m not going down without a fight. I've come this far, i'm not quitting. No way i'm leaving that college without a diploma in my hand. I'm bound and determined to get it. Thats my goal, thats what I really want. I will achieve it, I will attain that diploma. I will prove to people that I can do it. I'm not a quitter. Never have been, never will be. I will prove to people that I am successful and can be focused/determined and committed. I will be God driven and motivated. I will be all that God has called me to be. I will be that Man of God.
