| A real entry? Its been some time since I've posted anything much longer than a few sentences, but since I'm off for 2 and a half weeks I suppose I have the time to devote to it. Splashlight decided that since I already quit and clearly did not want to be there anymore that I should leave a week earlier than planned. On the one hand I'm happy about it since I get to spend the week with my friend Matt who is in town from Chicago, I get to meet Joan for lunch everyday (She calls me Mr Mom because I've been cooking and doing laundry and running a few errands for her), and we skipped town for Six Flags yesterday. On the other hand I miss out on a weeks pay (they are paying me for this week but I would have gotten an additional week after this otherwise) and I missed a chance to say goodbye to a few people since they told me at the end of the day last Friday. Oh well, good riddance, I'm off to a better place.
Last weekend Joan and I went to my parents home in Lancaster. The goal was to see my niece who is now 7 and 1/2 months old, and probably the cutest thing you ever saw. She used to cry whenever I'd hold her, but she loves me now. There must be something about Babies and Stars that gets to girls hearts because when I left NY Joan and I were not actually dating, yet by the time we crossed back over the PA border we were. Its funny because there are quite a few people we know who probably have no idea we were ever not dating, because to be perfectly honest we pretty much were for the last year or so. Let's face it, I have perfected the art known as "Pseudo." But to all the nay-sayers, this relationship had to run its course the way it did. any sooner and it all would have fallen apart. We both had dealt with our fair share of drama and personal growth and there was just too much at stake to get into anything at the wrong time. We talked about our past 2 years together and how we were so close to dating so many times and how ultimately we just were not ready. It has been amazing to me to see how God's timing is so much better than my own.
The motorcycle has been my challenge, I bought it so I would have a project and apparently I got one. I managed to break the kick starter off on the side of the highway in the middle of Queens about a week after I bought it. You can imagine the predicament that became. I got a new one on ebay for about $15 and and got her running again, but now while shell start on the first kick when cold, she doesnt like to start right after you turn her off. Thus if I go anywhere I have to wait an hour before going somwhere else. That rule applies if she stalls out too. Next week my project is to take apart the carbs and find the problem. The car on the otherhand is great. It's an amazing feeling of freedom to have a car again after 2 years without it. Makes the trip to PA and Maryland much much nicer.

| ChangesSo I am the proud new owner of a 2006 Honda Civic EX, and soon to be employee of Phase One USA. This could be a pretty big post I suppose. But I'll leave it short for now. Sorry for now blogging my car buying experience, but to be fair I was only considering two cars and eventually the the sheer finances involved pretty much made the decision for me.

| My mother will not be happy about this. So, after years of talk and little to no action I bought a bike. A 78 Yamaha XS 400, with an RD Tank and drag bar. Now all I need is to change it to a single seater with a rear cowl and I'll have a bitchin cafe racer. I figured a smaller bike would probably be a good idea in this city, hence I didn't go for a 650, oh well, I still have a 6-speed tranny. The logistics of getting the bike from its previous owner in PA should be fun considering I dont yet have full license (crossing 3 state lines might be a bit risky), but I'll figure something out.

| This week I met:
Joan Rivers... within 45 seconds of arriving, she laughed, insulted someone, and cried. wow.
Stephen Colbert.
other than that, i should probably write a real post, perhaps I will soon, but not now.
