| Is it possible to be as intimate with the Father as Abraham was??
Through intimacy with the Father comes the power to fight evil, heal the sick, and yes...even supernatural visitations.

has one of the most intimate relationships with God I know. When he was
around 20 or so, he took 6 or 9 months off of work and school. All He
did for 8 to 12 hours a day was pray. He'd read the Bible, see where
God had promised something to someone and say, God I want that. And
He'd beg and plead with God. After 9 months, God gave him what he asked
for. He is one of the most anointed prophets/healers/evangelists
around.
He tells numerous stories about when he sits down on
his bed to pray, that after he sits down and invites the Holy Spirit to
come, you can phyiscally see another "person" sit down on his bed with
him...You can't see the being, but you can see the bed sink down.
He
also tells of times where he's been praying for hours and hours and
he'll come up from his basement and he'll scare his wife because his
face and body are literally glowing like the sun. You see, being in the
presence of God changes everything. Your physical body, your spiritual
body, and yes even your mind. Being that intimate with God and just
sitting with Him is all he wants. It's what we're created for. And
through that intimacy we learn the Father's heart and through that we
touch the world.
There is also a missionary in Mexico. The
government of Mexico has officially labeled him as the person you take
someone who just died too. There have been hundreds, if not thousands
of documented reports of this man raising people from the dead. How
does he let God flow through him that much??? Well, he gets up at 5
every day and prays for 3 hours with his family. His entire family does
this. Then he prays and spends time with God for a few more hours every
day.
So yes, it is very possible to be that intimate...the only question is, what are you willing to give up for that intimacy. |
