Sometimes I think God puts certain people in our lives to test or develop our character.  Boy was today challenging!  I start to question myself every now and then and wonder if I made the right decision to go into ministry.  Ministry is all about people.  But then again it was God's call, not mine.  If God calls then He will give the grace to do it.  I can't give up now.  (Sorry guys, just need to encourage myself a little.)

On the other hand, today I started my way towards getting my certification to teach English as a second language.  It's something I thought about a long time ago.  It's been on my heart.  I talked about it a lot but just never made any steps towards it.  It will be a great asset and witnessing tool as well.  I'm really excited and know there are many ways this can be used for God's glory in the future.

Something a friend and I were talking about recently... guarding your heart.  Everything in life flows out of your heart.  You will respond to circumstances and situations and people according to what has been put into your heart.  This is the reason why you need to watch the doors of your heart.  Make sure you close the doors to the things of the world and to the things that are contrary to His Word.  Don't even allow it a crack open or for things to seep in.  Open your heart to Him.  Allow Him to come in and fill you up.

The Throneroom

Standing before His throne in fear and trembling
Will He hold out His golden sceptor?

Have you ever drawn away from His presence for fear of what He might think of you?  His love far exceeds anything you have ever done!  He is waiting for you.  Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you.  He longs to lavish out His love upon you.  Whatever you are going through, know that He is always there with you.  As you go into His throneroom today be filled with His peace, flooded with His love, and strengthened in your inner man.

"Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you." Jeremiah 31:3

So I'm here at the Coffee Banc having a grasshopper... absolute chocolatey mint goodness!  It's nice to relax because I feel like I've been going non-stop for two weeks.
One thing I have to testify is that the favor of God rests on me.  Lately I've been seeing it so much in my life.  I got a raise from my second job where I least expected it.  On top of that, I'm starting to see the fruit of my prayers.  I've been praying for this one particular family and I can see God working.  It's encouraging to see the results of your prayers.  Now I'm excited and I can't wait to see what God has in store next!

"For whoever finds me finds life,
                 And obtains favor from the LORD"

January 23, 2007. Double strength. The spiritual battle around you is intensifying. Some enemies you can see, the rest are hidden but there is no need of fear. You have committed to a course of action. Therefore, your enemies have greatly increased. Some say you have spread yourself too thin with over commitments. Take counsel and search for My wisdom. If you have been unwise, repent and do better next time. My word to you is that your strength will be doubled. I will now take charge, giving daily instructions and counsel. Remember during the coming days that My hand and My are upon you to will and to work My good pleasure. Be encouraged in your inner man. Nothing is too difficult for My chosen one. You will soon wear the wreath of victory. Double strength.

Luke 14:31 "Or what king, when he sets out to meet another king in battle, will not first sit down and take counsel whether he is strong enough with ten thousand men to encounter the one coming against him with twenty thousand? Psalm 32:8 "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you."

January 22, 2007.  Test. You have done well. I especially like your thankful heart. Your willingness to follow Me no matter the cost has caught My attention. Now is it time for you to move further up the mountain so that you can daily commune with Me.  I have new revelation that will change you and those whom you influence. This test you are about to experience will challenge your faith but nevertheless, you will pass the test. I say unto you today, stand firm during these days ahead. Keep your heart tuned to My voice. Turn neither to the right nor to the left; keep your face straight ahead towards the mission and quest I have given you. Be very sensitive and responsive. Come now, I will not give you more than you can endure. At the end, you will receive and wield the scepter I give you. Test.                                 

2 Thessalonians 2:15  “So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us.”

January 21, 2007. My word. As with the ark, may My word always be with you and in you and may it always be before you, leading you wherever I send you. Your citizenship is not in this world but rather in the Heavenlies. Your access is through the Kingdom of God with all its righteousness, peace and joy of the Holy Spirit. Meditate, plant and rehearse always My word in your spirit and soul. It will heal and deliver you daily. I am My word. When I am with you and in you, you are surrounded and marinated in My presence. You walk in Heavenly places and commune with the angels. I am the beginning and the end. My word.

Genesis 15:1 "After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, "Do not fear, Abram, I am a shield to you; your reward shall be very great." 1 Peter 1:25 "But THE WORD OF THE Lord ABIDES FOREVER." And this is the word which was preached to you."
