For the first time...I feel...Wicked!

Hello, y'all! I decided to update since I haven't in forever. I don't really feel like typing up everything that's happened, but I'll give you the main stuff. Mostly school's been keeping me busy and musical practice, which is fun just because it's something to do. Wednesday nights are always so boring because nothing's going on...I hate Wednesday nights now. When the musical's over, I'm probably going to go insane from having nothing to do at night. I'm going to have to figure out something...

Somehow I'm guessing most of you, at least the ones that go to my school, know that me and Woody are going out. And even though you all know already, I figured it was worth mentioning...

Did that paragraph seem like it totally did not do the topic justice? I agree, it didn't. Not by far. I could tell you a whole lot more, but I ain't gonna. (My English is so proper..) Sorry, but that's what diaries and super-close best friends are for.

Hmm, let's see, what have I bought off of iTunes recently...Evanescence's album The Open Door , which is wicked awesome; I pre-ordered JoJo's new album about a week ago, and I can't wait till that comes out Tuesday; and the other night I bought the Wicked sountrack, which I'm listening to right now, actually. It's so good!! It's hard to pick a favorite track, but my favorite ones are probably Defying Gravity, I'm Not That Girl, No One Mourns the Wicked, Dancing Through Life, and As Long As You're Mine. For our chorus trip this year we're going to Chicago, Illinois, and we're going to go see Wicked!! I can't wait till March now! We're doing the fundraising-thing for it right now, actually. Anyway, I love that soundtrack.

We don't have any school this Wednesday! YES!!! So happy about that. I'm going to Des Moines with my parents just to shop. It'll be fun. I haven't been to Des Moines for a few weeks and it's always nice to get out of this town for a day.

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't updated for awhile..school's been keeping me so busy. I've got practice for the musical from 7-9:30 every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights, and that's on top of school and homework. So, yeah, not a lot of free time. On the weekends I usually have so many e-mails that by the time I get all those done there's no time to update. So you'll have to forgive me.

This last week was homecoming. I'm just going to go through the week as quick as I can.

Monday - Pajama day. Easy, wear pajamas. Had musical practice that night. Homecoming doesn't stop that.

Tuesday - Twin day. Katie and I dressed exactly alike (we already look a lot alike anyway). So that was fun. Musical practice that night too. It was actually then that I got asked to the homecoming dance by Woody, which was totally unexpected. Especially because he's a senior. Want more details? Talk to Acacia or Samantha, who were there. They'd be more than happy to tell you, I'm sure.

Wednesday - Military day. Not so easy. I didn't have much. I don't like camoflague or anything. I just wore my tan pants and my Fall Out Boy army-green colored t-shirt. It worked. Not much else happened that day, though. Probably the most boring day all week.

Thursday - Pirates day. Dress like a pirate. I didn't have a pirates costume or anything. I just wore my Pirates of the Caribbean t-shirt and necklace. That night was Boom Night. The skits were hilarious! The juniors got 1st, seniors 2nd, freshmen 3rd!!, sophmores 4th. After that was outside decorating, which was also loads of fun. The freshman ended up getting 2nd for outside decorations!!! The sophmores got 1st. No musical practice that night, for obvious reasons.

Friday - School spirit day. Very easy. Just wear school colors: maroon&white. It was a short school day cuz we were on a 1:25 dismissal schedule. At 1:30 was the coronation in the high school gym where the king&queen/prince&princess get crownded. We, the chamber choir, also performed our song Dancing Through Life, which is an awesome song from the broadway musical Wicked. At 2:30 was the homecoming parade. Then there was about 90 minutes where I actually went home and relaxed. Then at 5 was the freshman football game. Somehow they lost! I can't believe it! Two weeks in a row the freshman have lost now!! We're definitely becoming high schoolers. Gotta keep up the tradition of losing every game. The varsity lost their game as well. The best part of the game, though, probably was when Woody and me went up into the press box while the varsity team was warming up and during half-time and got loads of great pictures. See, he's in the journalism department or whatever it's called and they asked him to take pictures of the game. I took quite a few pictures, too. You have to watch the band perform from up there. I never realized how cool their formations and stuff was until then. (Oh, it was only a $1600 camera we were taking the pictures with, by the way.) Then, after the game, from 10-12:30 was the homecoming dance, which was loads of fun. I was really tired when I got home, though. About 10 minutes after Woody dropped me off, I was asleep.

So, that was basically my week. This week's going to be really boring compared to it, too. At least there's still musical practice Mon., Tues., and Thurs. night. That's always fun, except for the fact that Samantha drives me up the bloody wall. And, dang, she can be perverted. Just in the last week she's given me 1300 years of therapy cuz of her big, perverted mouth!! Ugh...

Oh yeah, a couple weeks ago I bought Jesse McCartney's new CD Right Where You Want Me and Paramore's CD All We Know Is Falling. I've bought a lot of songs too. Just yesterday I got my allowance again and I bought quite a few songs, as well as my first music video off of iTunes.

They actually played Lips of An Angel and All the Small Things at the dance Friday. I love those two songs. I've wanted those two Blink182 songs forever, I've just never gotten around to buying till now for some reason. They also played Far Away by Nickelback, which is a great song. I loved that song the first time I heard it last December when I got their new CD.

Ooh!! I can't wait till Tuesday!! Evanescence's new CD The Open Door comes out and I saved just enough money to buy it. I've been waiting for a new CD from them for a long time now. Can't wait!!!!

Oh yeah, and the music video I bought off of iTunes last night was Snakes On A Plane (Bring It) by Cobra Starship, The Academy Is..., Gym Class Heroes, & The Sounds. I've already watched it 10 times since I bought it! And don't under-estimate it just cuz of the title. If you've never seen the video or the song, you have to. It rocks!!! I love it.

Hey! Sorry it's been forever since I've updated and I haven't beenresponding to your comments. School's been keeping me extra-busy and Ionly have time to get on the internet during the weekends and by thetime I get through all my e-mails that have been piling up throughoutthe week, I don't have any time to update.

Like the new layout? I love it. The background's just plain awesome. Yep.

School'sbeen pretty good overall. The last two Fridays there've been footballgames at home, which I was glad about cuz it's something to do andthey're fun cuz you get to hang out with your friends. Our freshmanteam won the last two weeks 20-0 cuz the freshman rock. I mean, theywere undefeated as 8th graders last year and only allowed one touchdown the whole season, so yeah, they're the bomb. The varsity actually won one the 8th! 7-6!  It's the first game the varsity team's won in three years!!!  So, meanless to say, it was a pretty big deal. Then they lost Friday night 7-6.  Weird huh? I thought it was rather weird.

Therewasn't any school on the 4th thanks to good old Labor Day, of course,and there wasn't school on Wednesday thanks to a lovely andalways-dependable teacher in-service. I love those things. I especiallyloved them when I woke up Wednesday morning with an awful sore throat,though by that evening it had turned into a stuffy nose that I've hadever since. Now it's turning into a cough cuz it's worked it's way frommy head down into my lungs. Fun. Well, look at the bright side, mybody's so busy with this cold that my allergies aren't even bugging me.So that's nice.

Yeah, other stuff's happened but I don't feellike boring you. Like I said on my last entry, if you want to knowmore, break into my house and read my diary. It's all there. I write init practically every night, so yeah, everything's there.
