Interests: Some of my interests besides art include athletics for example gymnastics, football, street and ice-hockey, etc. I've been playing violin for about 12 yrs (but don't wish to pursue any type of career in it), electric bass in a band (that is not in existence anymore), and have played viola in 8th grade (but quit do to the sad fact that our teacher was fired for pretending to have knowledge and teaching ability of music). I'm also a pretty avid reader and occasional writer. My literary interests range from the Harry Potter series and His Dark Materials to Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles (of which I believe every literate person should acquire). I also looove to read and draw manga and anime ike Peach Girl, Demon Diary, Paradise Kiss, Inuyasha, Dragon Ball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, and a schiesse load more but do not wish to corroborate on.
Expertise: I have an interest in art, specifically illustration and wish to pursue a career involving it sometime after college.

Yep. I'm blonde. Wearing white-rimmed sunglasses, over-priced Abercrombie chokers, and surfer dresses, and occassionally strawberry curls. I'm being a normal girly girl for a change and revelling in the shocked outbursts of my peers and friends. It's amusing to watch people stumble, trip, and go, wtf did you do?!
My first reason for doing it was because Victoria's Secret refused to hire me unless I had a 'natural' hair color. Like blonde, black, red, or brown, they said. As much as they loved the blue, according to policy, blue wasn't a natural color. SO, I thought...then let's see how 'natural' blonde works for them. Which it did. They totally hired me. And then I totally didn't call back because I realized I had to move my moving date up by a few more weeks.
Yeah. So I'll be leaving in approximately two weeks. Two Saturdays from now. At 2:30pm. May 26th at Newark Airport. I'll be visiting briefly on Saturday, July 14th for Amanda's 21st birthday and flying out with her to Cancun to celebrate what will most likely be the most unforgettable 21st birthday anyone will ever have.
In the summer, Mead will be taking me for my first sky-diving class at Lake Superior. Yeah. He rocks. I love him. End of story. More updates soon to come. People who wish to see me before I leave, ya'll have my cell. Give it a ring and get a hold of me asap.

| I'm going to be moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota sometime during the summer. I'll be transferring to another art oriented college, and hopefully with a better illustration department. I do see a very big improvement in my artwork these past couple of months, and I can honestly say that I am proud of myself for a change. I've been working three jobs, nonstop, staying in the work lounge after hours around 11pm at school in the city, and living off of even less sleep than I had already been getting. But it was all worth it to get this far. Here's a piece I'm working on right now for my General Illustration II class. It's an enormous stippling project of um. My hideous face, haha. I have to paint butterflies on it in guouache later on.
