Robert Jordan died.  If there were somebody that would have been interesting to have met, it would have been him.  The great author will be missed.

Big Concert

Went to the Family Values Tour here in Albuquerque.  Best performance (in my opinion) goes to Evanescence.  Thirty seconds after Flyleaf started, a transistor blew.  I was devastated.  I so wanted to see them play.  About an hour later, the power came back on, and they resumed...but it wasn't the same as it would've been.  The sound system got messed up, so when they started singing again, it sounded really garbled.  I think if the sound would've been set up right, I would've loved Flyleaf and Atreyu live.  But they were okay tonight.  Trivium and Neurosonic were cool.  Hellyeah didn't really trip my trigger.  I don't know why, cause they're all well known performers...maybe it was the overusage of the word "fuck"...  And Korn was...well the hit of the party, but I was worn out by the time they showed up.  They performed well though.

Just ending week 4 in Albuquerque.  It's been alright, not the greatest in the world.  Working 10 to 12 hours each day got old after the 3rd week, but I'm kinda getting used to it.  Nice weather and no bugs is great.  It cools down in the evening and morning.  I don't notice the heat much...probably because I think it should be followed by tons of humidity pressing down on me.

I went to visit a cousin of mine that lives down here.  They got a great kid that wants to be an artist.  They have two cats and they collect box turtles in their back yard...which is totally sweet.  I love reptiles.

Aaanywho...I'm keeping out of trouble, for now.
