I lost my wallet... and its the most strangest feeling. Finding out that someone used my money and credit cards is bad enough. Imagining someone masturbating to my id picture is the worst part.
I think I was too drunk last week to write this, but I saw A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints last friday and I loved it. IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREAD, GO WATCH IT THIS WEEKEND. Shia LaBeouf was really good in the film. Its one of those films you can't stop thinking about.
For the past month, my friends and I have been very diligent in catching the World Cup matches. For some of us, what started as simple curiosity for the sport has turned into crazy football fanaticism by yesterday afternoon. Undoubtedly the team we love is France. What happened yesterday was heartbreaking. Zidane has become somewhat of a personal hero for me, and to see him end his career with such a crazy classless act was a disappointment. I think most of us were just shocked. But I still love the guy though. How can one not? Goodbye Zizou!
I haven't been on Xanga for such a long time. Figured today would be a good day to let everyone know I'm still alive. After graduation things just get so different. The job search sucks. But the World Cup is such a good distraction from the mundane routine of doing nothing everyday. GO FRANCE!
Hey Everyone. So I got back from Mexico City, or D.F. as they call it there, and I must say it was AMAZING. You have no idea how much fun my friend Anna and I had. It is perhaps one of the most exciting, dynamic, and beautiful cities i've ever been too. It felt like Europe, Mexico, and New York all in one. The energy there was so great. When you are there, you feel like theres something important going on all the time. The city is filled with beautiful museums, ancient Mayan ruins, and colonial buildings. Sometimes they are actually right next to each other. The avenues are all lined with trees and statues. We also had the chance climb the Pyramids in Teotechuacan, an ancient city right outside D.F. The night life was pretty great to. The clubs were fun, and we got drunk everynight. They played good music, and people were hot, especially at this one place called "Living". The most memorable part of my trip was during my visit to Museo de Arte Moderno in Chapultapec Park where they had an exhibit celebrating the 40th anniversay of the poem, "Blanco" by essayist, poet, diplomat, and cultural historian, and Nobel-Prize winner Octavio Paz.
