| Sick ppl...eewwWAnyone ever notice how many sick ppl are on planes? I never really
noticed till I started traveling so much. Oh yeah, btw for those that
don't know, I travel a lot now.
But yes back to topic at hand...SICK PPL! there are so many of them!!!
it's nuts, no matter how big or small the plane I get on, chances are
there's at least 1 guy/girl hacking their poor lungs right out their
ears/nose/or mouth. or maybe all of the above.
I need to find some kindva germ guard or something without wearing one
of those silly white masks. Why do I say this? ummm...hmmm maybe b/c I
don't feel well and I can't sleep! >__<
I'm tired and I have to wake up in a few short hours and what am I doing? sore throat and can't sleep! boooooo
well at least I'm in Cali atm and it was a nice day.
anyway, if anyone knows of something good to take to stay healthy amonst a cabin full of germs...please let me know!
ok ok, rant is over.
oh btw, 1 last thing b4 I attempt at sleep once more....don't fly into
Morgantown! just don't. well...unless you like having your flights
cancelled. well...those little itty bitty planes are kinda interesting
still. get nice treatment b/c you'll be the only one on that plane =p

| wow...does it really say April 5th since my last entry? hmmm...ever since work blocked xanga there's just not enough time to get on to write and stuff. anyhow...well not all that much has been happening for me anyway. i do travel a lot now and getting more and more every time i look at my calendar. i've now been to florida, indianapolis, going to somewhere in OK, then somewhere in Cali, then somewhere in NY. of course any of these places can be changed at any time, but heck that's actually kind of fun. never know where you'll end up next. my little shot glass collection of different places is slowly growing ^_^ goal: 1 from every state (yes i have to get them myself or it doesn't count) i guess alaska will be one of the last ones for me to get :-p hmmm ok what else...sudoku! anyone else plays this crazy game? Evelyn's dad got me to start playing and it's great for when you're stuck in the airport. nothing quite like boggling your mind trying to find out where to put that 6 and 8 hehe if you play then you know what i'm talking about. lastly...thank you to everyone who's shown so much concern for Evie even though i know 1/2 the ppl that reads this (does anyone still read this???) doesn't even know her. okie pokie that's about it...guess it's time to go clean the bathroom. (yeah that's random, and no i'm not kidding) bye! ~beware if i don't update for awhile again~

Ok I had written this long post about what we had done during our cruise and when I hit submit it all got erased ~__~ sigh
So here we go again... The 2 of us left from the port of Galveston and travelled 2 days on the Gulf of Mexico to our first port of call - Jamaica. While on the sea we had perfect weather and we did absolutely nothing. Poor Evie got some kind of a stomache virus which kinda made her have to stay in her room for most of 1 day. Fortunately you get all kinds of room service so it wasn't as bad as it could be. Heck we didn't have to clean our room at least so that was a big plus. In Jamaica we had this strange guy take us to some funky real shady place and had some real Jamaican food. It was some weird fish stuff...interesting, not very tasty but umm...interesting. We did "zip-lining" which pretty much means we were swinging from place to place on Top of the Jamaican jungle. That was very cool, and the view was fantastic. Next port was Grand Cayman with it's totally beautiful waters. We took this boat out to some sandbar where there was snorkling around in a bed of corals and then play around with live stingrays. We're not talking tiny ones (although we did have a baby stingray to play with) but HUGE stingrays. We also spent quite a lot of money on t-shirts, shot glasses and Tortuga rum cakes! Evie also got this Ammonlite necklace. You can see it in some of the pictures but it's very hard to see, very pretty though ^_^ Last port was Cozumel Mexico. There we drove around on a jeep and went snorkling in a cave. We then had some real mexican food (great stuff! I ate way too much, then again that was an on going theme for me this trip) and sat around on fantastic white sandy beaches. Over all was a lot of fun but ok yeah...as some of you guys might already know...poor Evie got sick. Her feet had started swelling a bit on like Friday night and by the time we got back to KC on Sunday night both her legs were very badly swollen. We took her dirrectly to the hospital and she's been here since. Yeah I'm writing this while next to Evie's bed right now. At least there's internet for her. Her mom is also coming in tonight and there's been so many friends here to support her. Anyway, that's all for now...no we don't know what is causing her swelling, and no we don't know when she can leave =( please pray for her! | | |
| ok ok, yeah I took my first real vacation (one that I paid for myself). Yes it was a cruise. Yes I went with Evelyn, and yes we had fun. There were issues however and things could've gone better, but ya know what? I'm too tired to type it all out right now ^^ so until I get a chance to upload pictures, develope pictures, etc. etc. I'll just have to wait a bit for the real "vacation" post. sorry everyone. | | |
