If I Threw a Xanga Party, Would You Come?
Hi folks. I have a plan to throw an on-line party on Xanga. No, there won't be video, but there will be chatting right here on this page. I'll use some technology that is like an AIM chat room, only not as chaotic. I'm looking at doing this sometime early next week, after everyone's finals. Who would be interested?

@vwagenjetta - I'm not really that cool either, ha, but I figure if I can get a core of 5-6 to commit, we can still have fun. How do I go about getting the XangaTV widget?
@squeakysoul - Great!
That sounds cool. I would say count me in, but I'm likely to forget since I've been so busy with my fanfic. I'll try to remember though.
Sure.
Would there be any ground rules?
Sure I'd try, but I'll probably be working.
I would, but our finals are a little out of sync with yours, and I won't be done for a couple of weeks.
Sound idea though.
ryc: I think you made a good point about perhasp being more worried about married women reading romance novels because it might lead to discontent with their husbands. And I think for some women, that is a real and dangerous pitfall.
For me, however, those "perfect men" in the stories seem so unreal, so fake, it makes me every more grateful for my wonderful, flawed husband. It's weird, and I'm not able to explain it properly, I'm sure. I guess because N and I are flawed, it makes me turn to God the more because I know we can't make it without Him. But I know that other women may struggle with that, and I would do my best to encourage and not cause to stumble any friend who expressed a temptation with this. Good thoughts! ~ L
