The 1920’s in America were times of great change. The Roaring Twenties brought many fashion. Americans were calling it, “best-dressed.” Flappers did not truly emerge until the 1926. Flappers fashion embraced all fashion and style. The style and cut of women’s clothing during the 1920’s changed drastically. No longer black, but beige, rouged knees, bobbed hair, and figureless. In the style the short shirts and waistlines were dropped. Women with a fashionable flapper had short sleek hair, with the average of dress of shape. They had big nickels in their neck it’s was the fashion then. They had dresses that were beans and feathers that make their body move. Women’s shirt has to be above the knee or in the knees. Men were wearing tux. Men and women can wear a hot in top of their head. Women’s hairs were more shorten and they even show in public how bad they look in their Flappers. Some women expose themselves with spirit of reckless of rebel who danced the nights away in the Jazz age. Women were in the 20’s were most at short and their hair were black. Many of them in the twenties had long cigarette holder with such a bad expression. The music that became popular in the twenties was developed even further in the thirties, that had few rock and roll and it’s succeeded in their time. In the twenties the Jazz Age was bor ned. In the twenties many man and women got down and dirt with what song was on. Women’s uses tap dance with the shoes that makes sounds in their shoes. Some make their own moves to follow the beat of the song. The Jazz had that move that makes women and men move the motion of their body. A different song was recorded and it was called Charleston Era. Aftermath flappers had their hair bobbed and the more fashionable among them with cloche hats and long cigarette holders. And for the dancing the Charleston flappers invariably wore petal shirts which reached just in the knees. In the end of the 1920’s, which next start to the 1930s? Disputing its popularity, the flapper lifestyle and look could not survive the Great Depression. In the 1930s hardship went passing by. In the middle of the U.S. had great problems to go back to their home of the Great Depression. That’s when everything change in flapper many had save it for after life. In my conclusion Flappers were the best thing happen in the 1920’s. Many different life styles had change with clothing and expression they show them selves. With the songs they had and the dancing was a great experience for people in the 20’s they had nice dresses and style to it. But with the Great Depression started ever person had to change their life style because of the lost of money and food and that’s how why flapper didn’t last long. |
