After my interview, I went to the grocery store and found an excellently-named cereal:

I bought my items but when I got to the checkout, I saw this:
Cosmo behind a cover usually reserved for near-porn magazines.

I don't get it. Another case of a business being a "family" business. But Dierberg's mad up for it:

Ah, September. Cooler weather is just around the corner.

Some people think that all negative phrases mean the same thing: its bad. I beg to differ. Every day in my job I am able to capture the frustration of a situation with two excellent words: "That sucks." To a child or adolescent I'm not sure how a much more sincere or understanding phrase may exist.

However, when I check my facebook and that one of my friends has joined a group about the Jena 6, the group describes Jim Crow laws as "alive and well." If Jim Crow laws were truly alive and well, you would have them in your town. Instead, there is one backwards town in Louisiana that ruins the perception of racism in the United States. The situation sucks for the kids involved but a 6 people physically attacking 1 person can be easily interpreted as a criminal action. I know the case is much more complicated than I care to describe so I will describe is with an Analogy problem:

RACISM : STUPIDITY :: inflammatory speaking : unrealistic

I've had Tivo for a year and a half and I'm wasn't sure how I'd live without it.

I've had a TVR built into my computer for a few months and now I see the difference. The Windows Media Center interface is far superior to TiVo for one good reason...the skip ahead button. On TiVo you can fast-forward but on WMC you can skip ahead 30 seconds at a time. This allows me to watch Jeopardy in 15 minutes seeing only the questions (and answers).

Hooray!

St. Louis has a Maserati dealership. If you are unfamiliar with that car company, here's an idea of what kind of cars they make. Expensive ones.

"Where could this dealership be" you ask.

Clayton... no
Brentwood... no
Frontenac... no

Chesterfield valley. Lets hope we don't get another flood.

Recent Celebrity Presidential Campaign contributions

You know what I love about this list...the fact that they included Dennis Kucinich.

I haven't heard of any of the people that donated to him.
