A sure sign that spring is coming. My cold is still here, although it is better in one way, but the cough is hanging in there. I've spoken to some friends who have or had it and it could hang on for awhile.

Today it is sunny. It's been sunny for the last 3 days. Got my fingers crossed that warmer days are here. British Columbia is a rainy province though so we can count on rain.

Haven't done much or been out and about. Should go to the Post Office today but I'm to pooped to go postal.

What with the smack of snow we had and then the downpour of rain they are still blooming. Some a little droopy but still the harbringer of Spring.

The cold has gone into my chest. Grumble . . . cough. . . grumble. I'm tired and I know I have a temp. Getting old is the pits.

Later loves. Need a ciup of tea. And maybe a nap.

Hello Loves,

Not much of an entry today. I have scored a cold. First one in ages. Feel grumbly.

I also am now on ADSL which makes it very interesting.

Time for a hoty cup of tea and a Kleenex.

It's been interesting.

Hello Loves,

January, and February have been quite interesting, exhausting, and just plain ugly. And I don't mean just the weird weather.

To make matters short and to leave out all the 'this's, thatas, and reasons,' my brother moved in with my mother and I. And the not so fun part was emptying the spare room, which contained mainly bookcases, so he could move in. My bedroom is now wall to wall bookshelves.

It was like and still is de-cluttering with someone else's clutter. I have had the Diabetes Association and the Big Brothers here a couple of times to pickup. I have gone through my closet twice now to toss and I could probably go through it a couple times for to make more room. You can't see the floor.

The hardest part was lugging the huge aquarium up the stairs. But he only lost one fish in the move, due to the cold, and the rest seem happy. He has fish bigger then my hand.

His big German Shepherd got into a mega scrap with little Diz. Dizzy lost, of course, and was sore for a few days, but all is quiet on that front. My brother's cat left, he didn't like the move and disappeared early. Hopefully to his former home, but I suspect bad things. I'm not really worried about him, because he was a half feral cat anyway.

So, to say the least, I have not been blogging much. And my artsy attempts have been slow. There is still stuff everywhere. You sort of learn to either go around it or not see it. Items are slowly finding homes and maybe by the end of the year the place will be back to normal.

Time for a hot cup of tea. It is snowing here.

Later Loves,

Grey

My brother made me this for Christmas. The little red Santa sack contains candy. the sleigh and reindeer are made out of acrylic. Am I proud? Yes. And glad that I was the recipient.

Today is the 12 day of Christmas so tomorrow I start putting away the decorations. Now that is going to be a job. I'm not sure which is the worst, putting up or taking down. Going to be a fun job. The worst is trying to put everything back in the boxes it came out of. Like a jigsaw puzzle only you have to hunt up the pieces.

Later Loves,

Grey
