| never such a thing as to many questions, becuase each question could lead me to a potential pit fall in my logic, so please never stop questioning, besides the day that Americans belive everything that they are told then we are dead.
Being President, unfortunately, but yet fortuneatly at the same time has become more of a symbolic position. Evidence of this can be found in the current president. Since he became President, he has steadily become more and more liberal. instead I would argue that the power lies with those behind hte scenes (IE the head of each party).
However the president could affect a change in this matter because according to a poll (granted it was a call in poll) of several months ago around 75 or 80% of Americans wanted the illigals kicked out. So from a purely synical point of view if you are an elected offical and have that large of a majority telling you to do something you would do it. The problem is that people refuse to use the power that was and is still being given to them. The price of this blood. To me Americans are squandering the gift of freedom, because while we have soldiers on the other side of the world, protecting our freedom, we are not willing to defend our nation here. (About a month ago a few illigals were "assualted" (IE handcuffed and turned over to ICE) the ranch that this occured on was in the middle of a well known "coyote" trail. The rancer later lost his ranch to the illigals.) To affect change we the people must rise, not in a violent revoulition, but the revoulition that happens every two years at the national election. By holding congress people accountable for thier actions, they are more likely to think aobut hte votes that they are casting. However the odds of this happening are very slim, since most people are to conserned with (R) orf (D) or (I). If people look past the letter then we have a chance otherwise we as a nation are doomed(not to be overdramatic but that is the way that I see it.)
Infantry Sister thanks for the site, as well as the commentary.
Definetly not a plot to concer the world, not yet at least lol

| The simple answer to your quesiton is this: to affect any change on any level one must first have one of the two following things either a position of power, or the ear of someone in a position of power. (In response to the second part of your comment, I checked both sites, no where on there, besides in the area described on your site, do I ever mention being an airborne ranger without some form of a disclaimer. If you find an area where I have not done so, I would like you to please point it out to me, as I assure you that I had no intention of misleading anyone, nor do I have.)
Back to my political venting WTF why did bush choose such a mystery for a judge.
| I was origanly going to email my answer to teh question however it is growing into a thesis so:
The solution to the illigals is really three fold; the first is if the economic incentive to hire illigals is removed then the companies will stop hiring them. The only way to remove the incentive is to allow the former INS to actually do their jobs. At one point last year when the former INS (currently called ICE) was conducting raids in the Los Angels area of California, many of the construction jobs were vacant. The people were not there. This would indicate that many people are hiring illigals, so if you threaten and actually carry out raids fining employers five hundred to two thousand dollars per illegal that is found working on their site.
The second step would be to recall the U.S. military presence from some bases, if not reduce them. This would of course be conducted only in nations where the general populace has displaying attitudes that are anti-American, AND are not strategically important to the U.S. Defense. The military personnel that have come to this nation from the foreign ports of call would be shipped to the borders, with orders shoot to kill. Once these orders are carried out we under no circumstances turn the soldiers over to the UN.
I admit that this is merely a temporary solution to a more permanent problem. So while the soldiers are there have them building a wall similar to that of Israel.
I am further willing to admit that the illigals that are here will not leave voluntarily, so allow them to become legal citizens, on the provision that they can prove that they have a stable work history and, have caused no problems. By this I am referring to problems such as murder rape and other violent crimes. Make the grace period no more than one hundred days, after that any illigals found are to be deported immediately. The illigals that are in the U.S. jails are to be given the hardest work loads, and upon the completion of their sentence they are to be deported back to their homeland.

| I would disagree with only one thing, Bush is not the best president the U.S. has had, for this simple reason: ILLIGAL IMMIGRATION. We have a problem on our borders that must be solved as it represents a continuing chink in the armor that must be this nations defense. Earlier today a report came out that there is a sizeable minority of NON mexicans "immigrating" to this nation. Where do you think that they are coming from? Saudi Arabia, Jordan, etc. unless we fix this problem then we will always be subject to attacks from within our own borders.
Further despite the liberal lie that these "immigrants" are all here to work, many of them commit crimes on this side of the border and run to the other side, or the invrese.
The next liberal lie is that the US can not survive with out the illigals. This is false. Sitting in US prisions are millions of for the most part able bodied persons with nothing to do. Many of the illigals take low paying low skill jobs, so we do no t have to train these prisoners, they already knoow how to swing a sledge hammer. Has any one heard of CHAIN GANGS?
